I agree.....I use Never Dull and Blue Magic metal polish followed by wd40 and my fatty pipes and silencers still look great. Just turn a radio on and put several polishings on them. How bad are the rust spots?

Hey Chase,,..You started this crap...look at the room you are in...and from all you have said so far since your posts in April ....pointless. Ive met alot of people on here and I learned alot about my Banshee. I guess you knew all about quads and how they function before they were manufactured by not asking simple questions first. The post you read were from people who are riding banshees for the first time. If someone wants to ask if a filter would help their quad in a race aginst a 400ex would help...so what....they need to know and at Banshee HQ they have the right to ask. If you dont like the way people ask simple questions to learn about Banshees....just freakin' leave. Peace.

I ride a Banshee and I love the looks of it more than the other quads out there. Dont get me wrong...The new 450 is nice and is showing its strenght in areas. If I were to pick a fourstroke the 450 would be my choice. On the other hand I like waiting a few years after a model is out to give the corporation time to get the bugs worked out. Banshees are a wilder ride! I havent had any trouble with my Banshee. The only bruise I received from this machine is the Black and Blue beatings I get from my wife when I Buy another Great looking aftermarket part for it. My advice is ....go and ride several quads before you buy one and make sure you are completely satisfied. Ride safe.

A friend of mine bought a YFZ 450 Limited Edition Black. He weighs around 180 lbs. His 450 has a trinity pipe and K&N filter with a Pro Flow Adapter. It throws a flame out the exhaust at times. To me I think he has gone alittle to far on his jetting, the pipes are turning color. I run my shee with Mods listed below with a 15 tooth sprocket and I weigh 150 lbs and my Shee is jetted alittle rich but it responds well and my pipes arent colored up. Theres gonna be a drag no matter what!! He use to own a Banshee and sold it. Over the last 2 yrs since I got my 97 Shee Ive added All kinds of accessories and he hates to be on the bottom. He always was use to having the best of everything and I had to stay in his shadow. I made the Choice of getting the Maxxis Razor 2 rears and the Maxxis Razor2 Drag specials for the front to help on my traction. When this race happens I want it on video. I know this race will be close and its been a long time coming. I'll keep you all informed on what goes down. Keep the SHEE in front!!!!

I've heard several people tell me that you can get shrink wrap that slides over the atv levers and all you have to do is heat it up and it forms to what you put it on.. I thought the name would be lever skins or something like that. I wonder if you can do that to the upper part of a kick starter? Has anyone heard of this stuff?

I bet those 4 strkes about sh*t when your wheels went up. I havent got tossed yet , but I launched a double jump once and made love to the Handlebars.....that freakin hurt. My head bounce off the bars and it felt like my brain changed positions.
