Right on...........I'd like to shake the hand of the person who designed the Banshee. I bet he never thought in a million years that this Machine would haunt all other Quads this long. We all seen Quads come and go,...But SHEE still lives. I know the shee has been out for a long time and I dont even want to think that Shee has to be removed from the production line. I think that its a big mistake, unless they are planning to bring the Shee back in a SUPER FAST 1200 series. I always hear people around me saying...."Banshees are a thing of the past". My Question is....." What is there to ride in kick ass stlye in future years to come when Banshees are few?" LOL.....I'm not into SPACE JET CYCLES. I'm sure that there will be people wishing that the Banshee would come back. There are future generations of riders like that young kid waiting for the day he is old enough to experience this machines G's.

I agree......I hate to think of ever letting go of My Shee. There is NOT one quad that has that Killer look about it. Check this out guys.......I took my shee to the shop to have a few things done that my tool collection couldnt fix. I came out of the Quad shop to take my shee around to the unloading ramp with my truck and as I rounded the corner people stared, and I heard a kid scream to his Dad......"WOW....DAD LOOK!! This kid was around 9-10 yrs old I would guess. He ran across the lot to my truck and stood there with wide eyes staring and said ........"Is that a Banshee?"....I mean Loudly too...LOL. I didnt have Banshee name graphics on my fenders ...just Flames. I told him "yes" and as he stared he kept saying ....SOOO Killer..... way cool quad. At that momment I thought to myself..."Now there is a future Banshee Owner in years to come". It felt so cool to see a youg kid as he was drooling over the Shee instead of the 450's sitting by the shops entrance. I'm proud to be part of the Banshee riders community and this HQ......

I usually run Klots Benol /w 93 octane. A friend sold his Shee and gave me five quarts of Yamalube. Will it hurt anything to run this stuff after running Klotz?

I just invested in wider a arms and I am happy with the stance. +2 up 1.

I remember my first time on a Banshee, I was around 28 or so. My friend had bought a 1989 Banshee from a friend of his and brought it to his house. We sat there in chairs in his garage and stared quietly for quite a while. I remember hearing about these machines and so did he. The look of that machine was so different than any quad I have ever seen and the stories Ive heard was almost gut wrenching of what these machines are capable of. It was piped and jetted w/ a K&N filter and that was all. My Friend looked over at me and said ...WELL are you ready to try this beast out? I felt my gut wrench,..but I knew that this was gonna be fast but FAST wasnt even close to describe it. We went to a cleared off field with a stretch that seemed endless by his house and I got off to let him ride first. He rode it up and down the field to get the feel of it and finally lined it up 15ft from where I was standing at the top of the field. He reved it in second and looked over at me and grinned and said (((HERE WE GO))).....MY gosh I never seen a quad spinn its tires and throw it front end up while spinning. SOOO Freakin Fast!! He brought it up by me after a few trips and said "You got to try this, Its a REal RUSH". I got on and felt my gut turn to knots. I was excited though, I was about to ride the baddest machines made. I rode it down the field shifting first, second, third and so on. I was thinking to my self after a few trips up and down.. " I think Its rideable." So I lined up By my friend And wound up second and looked over at him and with a grin I slipped the clutch and BLEH!!!!...Stalled it right there...LOL. My buddy laughed and said you got to keep up the R's when you launch. I tried it again leaning over the tank and reved it like he said. When the Shee lauched I went from senary to Blurr it seconds. It felt like it would shoot out from under me. Ive been hooked eversince and the Banshee is the only quad I own. Nothing like a REAL Adrenlin PUMP!! No other quad has looks like a Banshee does.
