  1. If your planning on porting I'd say send it back for the 35mm. However, I know Banshee76179 runs a 33mm with porting and likes it a lot. I, personally would make the effort for the 35mm while you can, you open it up and a few months or so down the road wanna port it and want more flow, you're screwed.
  2. 20" tires = 15/41 gearing 22" tires = 14/42 gearing Stock is 14/41 with 20" tires. These would be the ideal gearing for what you want to do as long as you have pipes on that Banshee. If you don't have pipes, it will probably be a little tall. Scott
  3. Glad to hear.
  4. Remove your TORS. Unplug the plug under the gas tank and then the one up by the parking brake and follow it down to the other plug beside the left side of the radiator, then it should work.
  5. I'll believe it when I see it. And if I see it, I'll puke.
  6. I must've missed this thread. Looks like fun...
  7. I have two front spindles for sale. They are in great condition, and were swapped out with ones that were already reamed for the LSR a arms. I want $50 shipped for each one. Scott
  8. get a single carb
  9. His name is Brad Carson. They're going deep on the ads with him. Click here, approx. 7MB.
  10. Damn, that site is the fucking shiznit!! Here's the first one I'm gonna buy...
  11. how bout a blowjob?? Bet your chick ass gives good blowjobs, huh?
  12. 205 or so is quite rich on the main jet. Is it a 33m or a 35mm pwk? Also, the richest premix I'd run is a 32:1. Switch to that. As far as jetting. Have you checked your plugs at all? It's hard to tell exactly because I don't know your area. Around here, with pipes and such, they're running around a 180, with porting possibly 195 or 200. Now my bike's different and we won't get into that right now. I'd suggest going out and running one more run and check the plugs to verify that your rich. When you confirm, by your plugs, that your rich, I'd say around 175 or 178 might be a good place to start. 48 pilot probably and needle in the 3rd clip. That's about "normal" and remember not all banshees are alike, that's why I'm not telling you to just switch straight over. If I did that to mine, I'd be lean as hell, but most will be in that area with your mods. So check the plugs and then move down and try it again.
  13. You know, I'm sick of Right-clicking and saving...... maybe i'm gonna do something else this time....
  14. Oh yea, what condition are they in, and do you have a pic?
  15. I'm thinking about it, let me see if I can find a head to use. I have a Pro Design Coolhead in great condition with 20cc and 22cc domes. I've been playing with different pipes and am getting a woods port. But, I'm not sure if I want to get rid of my coolhead. I'll get back pretty quickly. Scott
  16. Call CarbParts.com and discuss it with them. They'll tell you what to look for on which carb and so on. Scott
  17. herd dat!! I was in CO last week. It was low of 28 to high of 40, then came home to a low of 70 and a high of 87. WTF!!
  18. It IS like bleeding a car, but much easier. I'd replace all the fluid with new DOT4, you can get a vacuum to suck out the fluid from Auto Zone for around $20, or you can just pump it all out. But yes, the front handlebar-mounted rez is for the front two and the rear brake has it's rez behind the right rear-brake lever. Later.
  19. DO NOT get rid of the airbox if your worried about water getting into the filters. I've seen more than one motor lock up because they were riding with clamp-ons when it was raining out or the ground had sitting water. Just get the adapter plate with a K&N and an outerware and your set. Take the lid off for more air and then you'll be running strong. Get the adapter plate from Noss Machine, Dave is a great guy and will give you a discount for being a BHQ member. Remember, keep the airbox and you won't have to worry about moisture EVER. Scott
  20. You mean the one I ripped the f*ck outta there a LONG LONG time ago??
  21. Now you all see where your money's goin....
  22. Fatties sold.
  23. don't have clamps. just pipes and silencers. thanks tho.
  24. Don't do it, you'll hate it.... This is a banshee site, you'll get plenty of rave reviews.
  25. Probably trying to increase the velocity of air at low/mid rpms to help boost the power there. Not sure, I'm not a porter, but the boost ports would unrestric the intake even further, which would slow the velocity and possibly enough at low/mid rpms to reduce power and therefore giving him the on/off powerband and top end only power.
