  1. Those wires ARE the brake light and they can be removed with no probs. Just put a little pin in the slot on top and pull it out.
  2. Here's what affects what. If it's off idle, then you don't need to mess with the main, it's somewhere else.
  3. Screw it, take a cutting torch and start peeling away the intake and exhaust ports till they look big enough. That oughta get you one helluva dune port...
  4. No you're not, or you'd quit playing... And I'm not a poor sport....
  5. uuuuh, a '50 Chevy p/u, uuuh a couple of subs and an amp, uuuuh, a wife...., oh and some XLT Lariat wheels.... Guess not.
  6. It might be the pipes. If you still have the T5s, throw em on and see if the "hit" comes back. Also, have you checked your jetting, the T6s may require a slight change in jetting and that could make you a little lean or rich, either way, you'll be a little down on power. What about cylinder compression? How old is the motor and when's the last time a fresh top end was put in it?
  7. I'd go back to the stock pilot (25) and try to get her started that way. Your main jet should be close, maybe 280 or something, but should be close enough for a plug check, and try your needle in the 3rd clip.
  8. Only Okies get tunnel vision... Just got to San Fierro and got done meeting all of the hippie's peeps. Then went and stole the helicopter and took a spin.
  9. RockyMountainATV.com & MagicRacing.com Both of these places sell the eliminator kit with the caps and idle screw setups. But, they can be hard to find on the internet. If you don't have a catalog to find the part numbers, it's best to call them and speak with a sales person.
  10. Dammit I need that thing, don't have the spare cash cause of the rebuild and just bought a new welder, but I'd rather have that thing. Dammmmit!
  11. I cut the back of my lid off and put holes on the underside snorkel area, but not on the top of the lid. The filter gets dirty there so I know it's suckin more air. The more the merrier I say.
  12. I would edit the above, but for some reason, the Explorer browser on my mac doesn't display the quote or edit buttons. I was going to add that I think the BCS is BS. They should have a playoff setup for the top ten teams. They should do a best out of 5 games, like baseball. That will take all the bullshit out, prolong the short season and make it a hella lot more entertaining.
  13. I'm a big Florida State and Florida fan, and my preference is in that order. Oh, and I FUCKING HATE MIAMI! They've always been a bunch of trash talkin hoodlums, and I've never liked 'em. Unfortunately, none of the Florida teams are what they used to be. Florida is in a big shithole they can't get out of, and FSU can't seem to get they're offense to work together, they do just long enough to squeak by for a win. Miami isn't really tearing it up either. Auburn can suck my ass, along with OU and OSU, in fact, I rank the OU and OSU teams about as low as Miami, and Ohio State ain't far behind them.
  14. I have the newer style. However, I've never heard of removing material. Not saying it's not true, I've just never heard that. I always heard the older styles are sent with an oring and you can't use the oring with the VForce reeds because it'll leak, so you must order a set of the paper gaskets for the newer manifolds and that'll work. Maybe he's saying you remove material from the gasket, dunno. I haven't had any of those experiences, I use the paper gasket and that's what works. Later.
  15. Blue, I was. Then I went to a richer needle and it gave me a lot more fuel in the 3/4 to WOT area, and I was able to back my main off 6 or 7 sizes, from a 220 to a 200, plus it hits a lot harder now, seems to be getting the fuel it needs.
  16. hmmm, don't get me started about that article. this was my opinion from past thread:
  17. Forgot to say that every machine is different, and while one can pull it, the other may not. that's a banshee for ya.
  18. Not to keeep the pitter patter going, but I actually run a 15/41 in the sand with my Sand Skates and can run the gears no prob. with my Fatties and single carb. Cylinder is off getting ported, so we'll see where we're at now...
  19. Understood. I was also way way richer on my main than pretty much everyone with a similar setup. Interesting to see where I end up after I get my cylinders back from the porter. More air velocity means more fuel vacuum, so I'm curious to see how much I actually need to go up. Later.
  20. No way would I have the patience for that. I'd be done after 30 minutes, on the floor doing this...
  21. That ain't no shit, me neither.
  22. Then put your plastic on it and ride some dammit.
  23. You'll like it.
