  1. yes, send me pics. I might take that sucker as Dave doesn't have any black ones in stock, but we'll see. Thanks.
  2. that's a little hard for me to understand and I know what I'm looking for (or maybe I'm just having a tough day....) this one's a little easier for me. allows you to decipher what part is rich or lean and set accordingly.
  3. Please email me. First right to refusal... scott@redishconstruction.com
  4. I'd be interested to see what the Chariot Performance heads are all about. I'm a big fan of the Noss heads but just curious. Anyone have any pics of install or assembling it?
  5. I did get your email as well . That thing looks pretty good and should be worth what you're asking. Don't think I'm gonna go for it because I believe +4 is just going to too long for me... good luck with the sell.
  6. that is definitely once concern with the powder coated pipes... they're going to be a little rougher and hold dirt and water spots unlike chrome.
  7. would like to see a picture of a +4 swingarm.
  8. I'm a big fan of the 19" Holeshot MXR4s with the 20" MX front.... they're light and grip hard no a lot of surfaces...
  9. cool, not to really turn this into a pipe thread (the black / chrome questions were for the bike in general but the pipes are one of the first main purchases) but the CPIs, as we all know, are mainly top end pipes. I've never ridden them but they're not said to be the smoothest, more like a hard hitting top end which I'm sure is awesome. The PT Hi Revs have a very good midrange with and excellent top end overrev, as much or more than T5s, more IMO. Thing about the PT Highs are they are incredibly smooth, very progressive not really a 'hit' and the midrange is pretty strong so they truly are an excellent fast trails / dune pipe with occasional drag. I've always wanted to try some CPIs but if I only have one banshee, it needs to be something I'll want to ride when I'm not at the dunes and I think I'll regret the CPIs in the long run. Yea, they look cooler IMO and I'm sure has more peak power, but the PTs are the pipes for me and my riding. I've ran them before and know them well, so I'll be going back to what I know. I do think all black would be a sick look but if I go with the PTs, their chrome is so strong and durable I don't think it'll be cost effective and favorable to try and do it myself or find something local. So, I'll surely end up with chrome pipes. I don't want to chrome it out so I'll still try and keep it low key. I may end up with a chrome bumper and maybe a chrome grab bar to tie it together and that's it but not sure yet. It'd be nice if Cascade would make their stator covers and water pump covers anodized black; might just get one and get it powder coated and cleared. Need to cut the fenders and some other good stuff.
  10. a stock banshee with FMF Gnarly pipes would be fine.
  11. there you go. now just play and test and play. jetting is 100% trial and error.
  12. well, i have been away for a little while but you know..... memory ain't as good as it was but there's still a little up there.
  13. not PT mids bro, the PT High Revs.... remember, i'm not a newb and this isn't my first banshee.... i've been around the block a few times....
  14. haha, i'm such a dumbshit. i'm still teetering on pipe choices. One minute, it's a no question CPI, then the next second I'm like no, it's PTs.... I think they have therapists for shit like this. Nonetheless, I'm having a really hard time finding a local powder coater to do a high temp. I know it can be done, hell CPI does it, but locally, I'm having trouble. So, my options are to order CPIs PC'ed black or PTs unfinished and finish them here. Since I'm having trouble with that, I'll probably go with chrome on the PTs. So now it's down to chrome PTs or black CPIs. I think the black CPIs would look way better but i'm fairly positive the PTs would much better suit my application, so I may end up with that. I've looked at the VHT stuff, they have a spray that you can use, then cure in an oven... seems interesting not sure my pipe would fit in my oven. Just don't want to hassle.
  15. going to go with CPI pipes. He'll powdercoat them from front to back, headpipe to the stinger to the silencer, whole deal. IMO, that's going to make a sick looking tough bike. Low key look that's all business.
  16. you can do it on facebook with tripadvisor.... wife does it. only place i know of other than maybe google earth. can't upload it right now, i have a screen print i could show.
  17. yea, i kinda think a slight bit of shine would be sick to. i don't think either choice would be bad, really. i just want this bike to kinda low-key... ya know....
  18. Want some CPIs and if anyone has any decent deals to keep me from paying full retail, it'd be nice.
  19. ok fellas, thought I'd post this up, see what y'all think... here's what I just picked up last weekend exactly, totally bone stock. So, I have some parts on the way but it's time for pipes. I'm actually kinda liking the blacked out look. What do you all think about black pc'ed pipes, CPI sells em powdercoated black or if I went with the PTs or T5s, then I could get them blacked. If I did chrome, then it'd be a very little bit of chrome, like chrome pipes, chrome bumper and grab bar and that's it. I've done the show chrome thing and not sure if i want to go that route again.... bad part is, once i buy the black pipes, that's what i have. Any opinions?
