  1. I'm sending my jugs out for some port work(finally). I figured that while it's apart, i might as well do a top end rebuild too.< First one on these cylinders, 5 years old After taking the jugs off, i noticed that the inside is very smooth (no scratches, chips, nicks or dings)... Does it need to be bored, or maybe just honed?
  2. you gotta tell me how the hell you leave a titty bar, only spending a hundred bucks....
  3. If it were me, and i were to do it all over again......I would have started with the suspension, and related components... Shocks, A-arms, and maybe the swinger and axle... No sence in making it faster if you can't put it to the ground.... Prices will very ..greatly have fun with it!
  4. how bout the air box only?...dont need the lid or snorkel and if your willing to split up the carbs, how much for the clutch side one (the one with the choke)
  5. The old Badger motors (the same engine now used in the Raptor 80) have a problem with the valves going out of wack (clearance). making them damn near impossible to start (or keep running). I don't know if it's the same motor used in the Zinger, or if thats the problem your having, but here's the clearances just in case.... Intake 0.002 - 0.004 Thousandths Exhaust 0.003 - 0.005 Thousandths
  6. Are you posting this again cause you didnt like any of the replies from last week?????
  7. here ya go.... link > Lockhart Phillips Doesnt seem to be going to right page....use the search key word "bolt kit"
  8. here's a crazy idea.....take em off when you wash the bike and leave em off till you go riding again. squirt a lil WD40 on the shocks every now and then to get out the moisture.... i dont use covers, but then again i'm running stockers...

If it were me, i'd do it(take em to a shop to get em looked at/charged) just for peace of mind...
  10. if you dont wanna use food coloring, u could aways just flush out the green stuff and ues that Dexcool stuff(the red antifreeze)
  11. Some states (like AZ) make you register em, just a like any other vehicle, and make you put a real licence plate (about the same size as an MC plate) on the back. I dont know if thats what hes talking bout, but......That, or they're still puting those fly-n-hi licence plates in side boxes of Honey combs...
  12. where are you located?
  13. thats not bad.....rezzies, no rezzies??

  15. Sorry to hear about the loss of your good friend.... thats the exact reason i dont ride the street anymore, lost too many friends to careless people on the roads. I too was hit by a car, but fortunately only suffered a broken leg.. my prayers are with you and his family.
  16. If your just goin 3", all you really need is the longer coil(or spacer)for the front, and an add a leaf, block, or spring pack for the rear. You can get away without replacing the shocks, but i'd replace em anyway... Anything more then 3 inches, you'll have to start replacing steering stuff, and your control arms. Oh and even if you just do the basic 3 inch lift....get rid of that POS track bar... If you plan on going with larger tires, keep an eye on your hubs....they like to gernade with out warning.. i love my Dodge, but......
  17. i took one of em to home depot, and matched it up to some thicck rubber washers they had.....came pretty close.....they work....try that... i eneded up taking my heal guards off and packed em away somewhere...if u still need em, Pm me your addy and i'll take a look for em...
