most likely a stuck float..... take the handle end of a screw driver, or whatever you have handy, and give the bowl a few good taps. If that doesn't stop it, take her apart and give the carb a good cleaning.

I've got the 04 roostfest sticker on my (orange) flag, and usually wear the grey roostfest t-shirt(no sleeves), just incase any other HQ's are out and about at Dumont. Wouldn't mind havin an HQ sticker if ya have a few extras Hope to see some of you guys up there!.....

your running 38's on stock gearing?????? I'd regear that thing SOON, or put some smaller tires back on it till you can regear...Your tranny has to be hating life right now!! Not to mention i'll bet she's a dog off the line....

I tried movin the shifter up...I didn't like it at all... You may find that it's actually harder to shift.. higher shifter+ stiff boot= lotsa false neutrals. It was easier for me to just get used to riding with boots, then to move the shifter. I find that i dont put whole boot under the shifter, ...just the outer most inside of it. Too bad there isn't something to convert to GP style shifting....

I havnt ridden since Easter of this year. Too hot to ride durning the summer. .... fall-winter-spring months we ride just about every weekend.

If your bike's runnin hot, and your sure your cooling system's working fine, i'd look for something else causing the bike to over heat. and to ansewr your question..... I wouldn't mix the 2..... just me

Same thing with a buddy of mine. He had the same gas in his boat since last year. His builder told him to do like MonkeyBoy said, and just top it off with the good stuff. We had his boat out last weekend for the first time in over a year, she fired right up, and ran great!.... I've used premix that's been sitting in the garage for over a month with no problems...
