dont bother getting that rebuild kit from rocky mt.....I bought one a couple months ago(not even 2 mos) and the damn thing is rattling again....do it yourself or send it to HM....

I have basicly the same set up as you,( except for the dual K-n-N's..i'm running only one biggie) and riding elevation... i was running the 27.5 pilot, and Someone on here told me that Fattys like it leaner....so i put the 25 back in, and richened the needle one...she liked that a lot better, specialy now that the weather is getting nicer (warmer)....Just a thought.... it's in here somewhere...not too long ago either...

They're just like titles for a car or truck... Only some states require you to register an OHV, some dont...the ones that do get titles....

It's the front hole... The welding trick didn't work. I think it's broke off too far back in the hole. I have one more option, but am gonna have to wait till Monday to try er out. [fingers crossed]

If it were me...I'd put that motor in the back of my truck, take it back to the place that did the work on it, toss it threw the front window, and ask then nicely to get it right.....

Riding boots were made to be stiff. I have had my Tech 8's for a lil over 2 years, and they (to me) still feel as stiff as the day i got em. You'll never get em (atleast in my experience) as brokin in as an old pair of old sneekers, but who wants flimsy riding boots...The more you wear em, the more used to em you 'll get, and the shifting thing will become 2nd nature to you.....that or you could move your shifter up a little.

foot peg bolt hole. I tried drilling out the extractor, but it didnt even put a dent in it. It's strong enough to withstand being drilled out, but not enough for it's intended purpose....i dont get it... I gotta friend with a welder that's gonna try and weld a piece of metal to the extractor, to try and get it out that way.... any other suggestions?????/

Is it still under warranty? (or) have there been any recalls on it? I dont know about the X, but there's a site for Dodge trucks that has a list of TSB's and recalls. Call the dealer to see if what you mentioned was a recall thingy, and let them worry about it... If the whole cluster's going out, it might be a wiring harness connection...??? Have you tried searching the net for Xterra sites? I know they're out there. I dont know how many X's I've seen with WWW.Xsomething???.com on the back windows, in town. Try this site.. click here I found it doin a search.... do a search on there. I used the words "gauge cluster" under the general catagory, and it came up with "Instument Cluster Failure"..i tried to click it, but i think u have to be a registered member....thats too much work for me.....good luck

I was tryign to get a broken bolt out, and while doing so, i snapped the bolt extractor off in the hole... Now what??..any suggestions???

There's usually an air box or 2 in the for sale section, on here, or check out eBay. If nothing else, Make a post in the wanted section, on here for an air box. As far as rejetting, unless you put the lid an snorkle on too, you shouldnt have to rejet.
