Put a piece of high temp hose around the part of your frame that the pipes rubs. That should do the trick.
OR
Try adjusting the pipe itself. I had the same problem when i first put my pipes on, but w/ a little adjustment, it doesnt touch anymore.
(quick description so u understand what i'm talking about)
Inside the slide, there's 3 holes. 2 for the screws, and one other one.
How is the plate(the plate=the thing that's screwed to the inside of the slide, and holds the throttle cable in place) placed in the slide? Is it supposed to be placed in there so it covers the hole, or so that the hole is open?
and
one of the screws that hold the plate in place were missing. would this cause fuel/performance problems?

It took some getting used to the first(100) time i rode the shee w/ boots, but now 'im used to it...you just have to adjust your shifting style.
Plug chop verifies the mains..so if your getting that Choc brown(2MM) you should be good there.
If your getting a bog right off idle to about 3/4 throttle, try going to a 27.5 pilot, and put the needle back in the stock position.
Some of the more seasoned guys may have diff(better) advice....

i just put the bike back together(pipes, rejetted, filter...) and took 'er out for a little test and tune run.
Here's the only thing i didnt understand.. it runs great until 6th gear at WOT. Where it bogs slightly.
It only does it in 6th....

it was about 80 out today, and I'm at 2030 ft above...
what could be causing it to bog only in 6th at WOT?????

Is the idle screw and air screw one in the same, or are these 2 diff things.
