Put a piece of high temp hose around the part of your frame that the pipes rubs. That should do the trick. OR Try adjusting the pipe itself. I had the same problem when i first put my pipes on, but w/ a little adjustment, it doesnt touch anymore.

(quick description so u understand what i'm talking about) Inside the slide, there's 3 holes. 2 for the screws, and one other one. How is the plate(the plate=the thing that's screwed to the inside of the slide, and holds the throttle cable in place) placed in the slide? Is it supposed to be placed in there so it covers the hole, or so that the hole is open? and one of the screws that hold the plate in place were missing. would this cause fuel/performance problems?

Buy a Ducati, ride it in rush hour traffic for one day, and you'll have no more complaints about your clutch being stiff....... Yeah i'm no help......

Alpinestar...Tech 8's and for the street/track, Alpinestar...SMX-Plus I was going to buy the Sidi Verts, but even the ones w/ the adjustable calf, wouldnt fit around mine... It took some getting used to the first(100) time i rode the shee w/ boots, but now 'im used to it...you just have to adjust your shifting style.

Plug chop verifies the mains..so if your getting that Choc brown(2MM) you should be good there. If your getting a bog right off idle to about 3/4 throttle, try going to a 27.5 pilot, and put the needle back in the stock position. Some of the more seasoned guys may have diff(better) advice.... Have you checked out the jetting FAQ?? if not, it'll help you quite a bit..

are you talking about that little "nipple" like thing on the inside of the carb body?? Is that thing even replaceable??

Bel Ray has it in a rattle can.... I bought mine at a local bike parts store(cycle gear) for 8 bucks a can. I believe they have it at Rocky Mt too... oh and by the way...the hubs look really good in that dark blue... I just did mine last week....

ya think the main's causing the problem??? even though it only happens topped out in 6th gear? wouldn't it cause bogging in all gears at 3/4 to WOT?

i just put the bike back together(pipes, rejetted, filter...) and took 'er out for a little test and tune run. Here's the only thing i didnt understand.. it runs great until 6th gear at WOT. Where it bogs slightly. It only does it in 6th.... what i've done fatty's pd/k-&-n set up 320 mains 27.5 pilots 2 turns out on air screws needles in stock position... it was about 80 out today, and I'm at 2030 ft above... what could be causing it to bog only in 6th at WOT?????
