  2. the exact same thing happend here at our local ridding area about two years agow.got to the point (like dayton now)were nobody at all could ride.it was the only way,the owners of the property could get the cops off their back.now myself+4 other local guys were given keys to the property with the agrement that we police the place ourselves. there is absolutley nothing in it for the property owner but massive liability issues+hassels from the police.so far so good,but it's just a matter of time.

  6. if your interested in traveling to Ma. cape cod. one of my riding buddies has a mint 2003 black+red shee,k+n filter+procircut pipes.less than 6 tanks of fuel run through her.the bike is in shoroom cond. title,cert of origin all the bs.5000.00 firm.he has atleast 6 other quads+needs room+cash for other projects.i would recomend this bike to anyone interested in a new banshee.

  8. toe in is when the front tires point inward.some tires have a centerline from the tooling,it's a great refrance point to measure from.with your weight or a buddy on the quad.measure from the center to center of the front tire at 3oc, and do the same in the rear of the tires at 9oc. the rear dimension should be aprox 1/8 to 1/4greater.
  9. straihgten the handelbars.loosen the 4 locknuts on the tyrods.and adjust acordingly by spinning the sleaves.when your done toe in should be aprox1/4 inward.

    i have never delt with dunegoony before nor will i ever.i woud'nt normally bash anyone or their buisness practices here but for you i take exception.you come here undercut people on prices,then attack their character,wtf walter is one of the most respected members here+a stand up guy,no bullshit!!! i have delt with him ,he has given me parts+refused to take my money,he helps people to honestly help them not for a proffit. thats my take on the subject.

    i have right hand cylinder,off of a lunched motor it looks to be allright,unknown bore,would have to be machined.

I just went through the same thing.this is what i did,Talked to my susp builder+explained that i have stock a arms but planned to go to plus 2's in the near future.He valved them for my ridding style with the+2s with a lower rate main spring for the stock arms.When i upgrade the A arms he'll send me a stiffer main spring that i can replace+they will be dialed in perfect.He said they will be stiffer than optimum with the set up now.But compaired to the stockers they replaced,WOW HUGE IMPROVEMENT! YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED WITH THE ELKAS!
  14. you could put all your stock shit back on it and get 3 grand or 3500 mabey if your lucky.then i'll buy all the custom+aftermarket gear from ya. i witnessed the rebuld over the winter+he does exelent work,the quad is all he says it is and then some.

  17. yes that gear should spinn freely,i'm not a expert,had one open on the bench. great job troubleshooting! the two end+two center gears on that shaft are splined to it+the other two should spin.hope that helps.

  19. it is possible to convert a rear stocker to ssd,i had one done+lost allmost 2in of ride height,also made it duel rate.
  20. rick at christian paul ms out of new york,518-661-6321 give him a call,explain your needs+he'll set you up! he's done 2 rear rebuilds for me, one o-preload duel-rt+one single-rt standard.both shocks performed way beyond my expectations.he also set me up with new matching front elkas for less than i would have paid for works shocks.

  25. yes that is normal,they are the predesors(SP) of the rz motors,they are air cooled+very similier to the banshee motor.
