  1. on stock front banshee shocks the spring is aprox 2.5in diameter+14.5in to centers of mount points with no load on them.they are not ride hight adjustable,but they do have 4 preload settings.check out ebay,shocks off the newer sport quads are generally about 2 in longer+much better all around.

  3. a good friend lent me his helmet cam,the 300 res.model.he said it was around 300.00+also a sony handy cam it hooked up to.the quality+sound are exelent! i taped some great footage of my buddies+myself racing around are local track+some good hillclimb stuff.it's difficult to watch the tape+not get all tensed up.at one point i'm completely flailing out of control sky,earth,woods,fence+then i miraculously pull it back together+continue on like i ment to do that,it's priceless.

  5. amen,could'nt have said better myself especialy the pictures part,oh ya it's easy.shure if your bill gates.i wrestled with that chat set up for about 35mins +got nowere.then i tried today+it worked,don't know what i did different but it worked.

  9. i had a bad case of burcitius in my sholder from repeditive roof stripping.like shoveling rocks up hill allday long,working like a super hero,when i was a young buck.after time it got to the point i count sleep due to the pain.so reluctantly i went to this holistic female docter.she sugested a basic streching routine twice a day. nothing special just basic stuff.what i was doing was favoring the injury,limiting movement of that sholder and by doing so it made it worse.she sugested i work it,whithin reason.and strech as much as possible.whithin a couple months later no pain.my ailment was'nt as extreme as your's,but it honestly worked great for myself.sorry for the book thought it mite be helpfull.
  10. sounds rich on the main jets.if you run a airbox,try running without the lid on. if the bog goes away you need to jet down.+do a w.o.t. plug chop in 6th,it will tell the story.

  13. i bought a few items from him.never had a problem.
  14. i bought a pair about 6 mounts agow.liked them so much,called him direct to get a couple more pairs.he sent me 3 more sets for about 8.00 a piece.the material is verry soft+comfortable,and seams to hold up pretty well.no obvious wear yet,but i only ride once a week.compaired to the scoots i took off they are way softer+much more comfortable.
  15. i had a similar situation with mine after a topend rebuild.at idle+above until power band,it would vibrate+shake like it was way out of ballance.i checked every thing that i could think of +it checked out.i was truely stumped! so i got on the bhq+started asking questions.after many great sugestions+cenerios,banchetta had a theory about dried out cluch disks after a lower end douching.(tranny flush) so i tipped the quad on its side so all the tranny oil would flow into the cluch cover+saturate the cluch assembley.i believe that is what fixed it.vibration gone! give it a try,can't hurt.
  16. first mods to virgin z went like this.pro design billet adpt.k+n with outer ware,pro-c t4 slip on,dyno-jet needles+main 146,3 clip from the blunt end,mixture 3 1/2 turns out.removed snorkel, lid on.gains were obvious,crisper throtel responce+broader power!remove the snorkel get the filter kit,up the jet,+you should notice a slight increase in power,it can only help.

  20. it all depends on how it was set up at the dealers.if the jetting is correct now ,then 2 sizes up sounds good+adjust the fuel mixture screw.assuming no other mods or changes.i'm from the northeast at see level+my z came stock with a 130 main jet.to optimise her gift i would also get a dyno-jet kit .part #o312 comes with needles,a good assortment of jets,+good instructions so you can really dial it in.

  24. ledofzep do you know if the rear ex hubs(splines),will mate to a stock banshee axel?
  25. same here.had a 1-1/8nut, welded it to a bolt.all you need is a bolt with a head of at least 1 1/8 with a double nut on it.so you have something to grab to spin it out.
