  2. Everything dirtwheels said is true.i have a 03z+my bro has a 02ex.In my opinion the z is a much better all around ride. With a few basic mods they are exelent woods, trail, pit+mx quads.
  3. akpopeye, Cameron Is a great guy to deal with,I would highly recommend.
  4. holly shit,i thought i was bad! sounds awsome see ya soon. john
  5. once upon a time a long time agow,i get a phone call from a rep of one of my,debit, credit card companys.the rep asked me if i was in california today using my bank debit card to purchase gas at a mobil station.so i was like how is that possable.i have the card in my possesion+you also need to know the 4 digit pin number to make it work.WRONG! somehow someone presented a credit card with the same info+applied the correct pin #filled their tank bought some snacks+went on their merry way.the bank waived the charges+issued me a new card with all new info+pin#'s.
  6. itp 190 t9 rolled edge last month i cartwheeled my shee at about 40mph the right rear rim took the grunt of the first blow,(found the imprint in the dirt upon reinactment)i destroyed the axle, one hub(right rear),handel bars+clutch lever.after close inspection of all the carnage the rims are unscathed.so the stock axle+the hub gave way before it had a chance to tweek the rim.
  7. pro circuts complete with silencers about 1 year old looks like chrome 300.00 t3's chrome real nice with a few dents, painted black stingers with pollished silencers complete 300.00 pt revs chrome look like shit+fit worse ,with fat boy silencers complete250.00 fmf golds factory finish pipes only 100.00 dg nationals chrome very nice shape pipes only100.00
  8. on my -2 i run a ohlin shock ,same length as stock.unless the mounting location for the shock has been altered, the missing 2in is usually removed from aft of that point.a stock shock will work fine,it will transmit less leverage to the shock inturn giving you a little stiffer ride.it will hook like a funny car+turn like a road racer.
  9. congrats thats great! i'm looking forward to running with ya at glamis.
  10. slugfest 05 matt could print up some t shirts+i'll bring the party favors.lol
  11. good lord! i'm waiting for nyuk to chime in with some insitefull therapy sugestions, like the kumbiya(sp) campfire session.lmao!
  12. jt i wil bring at least 4 coolers a propane grill+your basic tools.i can also bring a small compressor but it won't run air tools worth a shit,or a portable12 volt battery pack/mini compressor.ext cords,halogen lights,cordless drill,camping lanterns,+a garbage pale+i won't forget the duct tape+zip ties.
  13. in Ma. i have 4 , 4 bolt main early 70's 350 short blocks+a 9in with 28spline axles,open end diff,tall gears,out of a 69 stang.short money!
  14. i bead blasted mine with wallnut shell, took about 5 mins.then i sanded with 400wet paper.then i pollished it with a pnumatic dremil for a couple hours.it took me 4 1/2 hours start to finish total+now it looks like chrome.
  15. i noticed this the other day when doing some brake maintinance on the rear calliper of the banshee.the caliper off the z400 is the same one with bigger pads in it.the only difference is the mounting plate, the finish on it+the line is a little shorter.so i got another banshee mount(nyuk)and groung about 1/8 off the pad stop on the mount,so the bigger pads would fit in.now it has more pad surface to grab the rotor,it can only help.all you have to do is grind a little off your original mounting plate+you can install the bigger z 400 pads.i use the ebc sintered pads+would recomend them.
  16. i am very satisfied with my set up,the useable power is unreal! Rodney's motor had more top end than mine when i rode it.Jason (try it out ),ya right i've seen you ride.compared to your motor i know you'll be impressed+thats with the 28pwk's.i put the t'5s back on for the dunes+i'll also try it out with the 34pj's when we're out there.
  17. i have some yellow ones off a 97,with some color worn off from shock covers 55.00 shipped
  18. aprox 3/4 on the hose, the size+thread pitch on both of those are 10mm+1.25,i did'nt check the tie rods, just the ends+the spindle nuts.
  19. just go to your local hardware store+get three .6mm+1.00 thread pitch fasteners aprox 5/8 long.these are the same scews the are in the motor side covers just shorter.if thats not possible send me your addy+i'll mail you 3.
  20. which side did the unknown piece come out of?stator or clutch.to pull the flywheel you'll need the correct flywheel puller.it sounds to me like the problem is on the other side with the shift star assembly area.do you have a clymers manual to refrence?also look+see if their is still a c clip on the tranny shaft that holds the idler gear on.the idler gear won't come off whithout removing the clutch housing assembly, but i could bind up if the c clip is gone.
  21. happy birthday Rodney!!!
  22. patriot built my setup. it's a 4mil mx port.it hauls ass rite off idle to redline.
  23. i have some uncut, they are'nt a very good choice for trails or mx!they shine on top with a violent hit when the come on+rev out real well.from what i understand when cut they hit harder+rev to the moon.
  24. michelin ltx m/s also. they are a exelent all around tire+they wear like iron.it took me allmost 70ooo mi to reach the tread wear bars.they are only a 6 ply tire with a c load rating.i drive a 3/4 ton dodge+pull a 5000lb trailer+never had a tire related problem with them.i'm working on my 3rd set now +would highly recomend.
  25. jt i rallied another cape cod redneck.thats 6 total so far,do you have room for another?i'll pm you his name.
