banchetta funny thing about that ohlin is,i got it from a friend without knowing any of its history or how it was set up.i bolted it on test rode it,all i had to do was take 3 clicks of rebound out of it.it's only a single rate shock set at the lowest ride hight as possible.i explained what i had to my shock builder+he built me a set of 0 preload ssd dueal rt elkas for the front to compliment the rear.i had the fronts on when you rode it at dumont.what made me get the fronts was i put good suspension all around on my other quad+it was so impresive i did'nt want to ride the shee anymore,so i had to.

the shaft that the gears ride on could be worn,if it's apart it's only a couple of snap rings,to slide the gears off+check it out.

the stock swinger on my z400 is alum.i'll probly break it..i broke my stock shortened banshee swinger last week,was'nt prety.good news is now i have a even shorter stock one with a honda carriar set up.

keep your eyes on e bay i scored two really nice sets of chrome ones on there about this time last year.they replaced a set of factory finish ones that were on my bro's quad.their rusty with some small dings but worked great.he maybe interested in selling.pm me if your interested+i'll hook you up with his #

try dropping the clip one notch change nothing else+try it.whats your elev+temp?do a WOT plug chop for a accurate reading.it will get even crazyer once you really dial it in.

a mx or recreational quad engine will opperate in a very wide rpm range wich will benifit from a not so adv initial timing setting,where as a drad quad will opperate a WOT all the time,and the advance curve can be taylored for a predictable rpm range for optimal results.i have no expierince with this other than what i learned from this site.

top fuel larry dixon 4.537 at 332.75, funny car john force 4.731 at around 326 i pulled those numbers out of last years magazines,

yes on the initial tip in of the throttle.they work better than stock in my application.

dyno-jet needles are aprox 3/16 longer than stock+taper down to a finer point. www.dynojet.com

mine was the same way.spray penatrating oil on it+let it soak+reapply,mine took 3 days of douching to come loose.you must use the correct puller+a impact gun is also a plus.good luck be patient+she should come free.

i need the rearmost tranny shaft,the one that has the drive sproket on one side+the idler gear on the other.do not need any of the gears but the c clip for the idler gear would be a bonus.if anyone has one laying around would be greatly appreciated.

i have a good deal going with my dentist,we trade labor i replaced 5 8ft frenchwood sliders(labor only)+in return i recieved 2 gold crowns+a root canal.origanaly he was like you need this +that +one of those,it'll be 3400.00. so i was like how about you just rip them out,i can't afford that doc i have priorities,i need a stroker motor! the kicker was i just went in for a routine cleaning+had no idea i needed a major overhaul,at least if it hurt +he fixed it i would have felt like i got my moneys worth.3 1/2 hours in the chair,big fun.
