  4. pull it full tilt ......then reach in your intake and see if you can push the slides up any more by hand........you should hear them top out......worst case take your cable to a custom shop and have them take a 1/16 or 1/8 off the cable leaving the housing in tact and you'll be stylin, or if it has an adjust back all the slack out of it...
  5. i dont wanna piss on Jefro's thread stan........but yeah that would work great, i was thinking the top mounts to the stock deck (fenders) and the bottom mounts to the stock pipe mounts, then i could swap pegs and nerfs and be cool, i havnt raced this season but like i said before, my kids been rideing my bansh and id like to make it a little safer for him, if he's climbing and gets locked up in my rear tires im fucked, my wife (bless her heart) will shit her mess kit......... but id like something that looks cool with your logo that will keep the kids feet outta my wholeshots.......thanks Stan.......jim

Maybe you can try to attach them to the stock pipe brackets up front with another support going to the unimportant exhaust port thats what im wanting him to do so i can still switch beetween my -2 and stock pegs and still have gaurds intacked i just want a little bling plate to keep the boot outta the tire, and still be able to manouver around my pegs, if i wanted to look like a homo i could allways run the stock shit that attaches to the peg and fender......im just fuckin with ya Stan, one of these days you'll pop up with a set or two and ill take them off ya........

  8. well why did you go to fmf then if your toomeys were cool, ill go ahead and be the asshole here, and ask ya why did ya switch to sst's? did it run better? then the weld snapped? the kid that tacked that could have just came back from lunch after puffing a fattie, ive had a fmf pipe on my CR for 8 years and its cool, i dont have fmf's on my quad but know alot of guys running that pipe and none of them have busted welds, id say "shit happens" it would piss me off too, but your the very first guy ive ever heard with something bad to say about fmf...... id give them a chance.....but if you welded it its handled.......how does your bike run Toomey verses FMF?

  10. its not a bad idea to gussett the entire under carrariage connections at the front end, if your gonna dice it up hard with other quads, it will look like you have a forward skid plate ...............one of my bikes is 2"s to the left from not gusseting the under carraige........ the front end, from motor to a-arms,is tweaked, but the LSR arms didnt bend, the frame did, and getting t-boned will do it also, not to mention just smacking a tree real hard.....its gonna add a pinch of weight to the front end though, but if you gotta strong motor you'll be cool, use a couple of gages up in steel from the frame and it wont bend, if you use Tin it will still fold up, id almost rather run a soft a-arm than bend my frame, cause when i go 80 down my street i can feel it drift, cause my frames slightly tweaked.......... and id hate to eat it into my neighbors mail box at 80+
  11. i have 160 acres fenced off with warning signs and no tresspassing signs....theres a moto track and a 90 foot ramp to ramp jump.......i let the neighborhood guys ride on it and if they get hurt....i posted signs so i am not lible..but otherwise whats the problem?.....if you have a large peice of land and dont want riders on it fence it off, and call the cops when your neighbor hits your trails...but when your house gets burglerized and he's standing in his drive way laughing....you'll know why......
  12. i wouldnt think thats your mains got1..you said i think a 55 pilot.....try the 50, thats what im using at 2500 feet maybe it flooding slightly at low rpms, it should just crack right on, from idle, when theres no load on the bike like in neutral does it rev clean.....i think your plugs are going to be a bit wet..ive been letting my bike run out of gas and die before parking, it because the 927 separates and i pulled my plugs and the were bone dry but if i just turn it off and look at the plugs there a little wet and my bike runs good, go figure
  13. most 2 cycles you have to manually mix the gas and oil, as in the case of the banshee, renthal makes sprockets and handle bars..a boost bottle is a canister that does nothing that goes on the crossover between your intake manifold and the block (worthless mod)..tripple clamps are the mounts for your handle bars, that connect to your stering stem and handle bars

  22. Are you talking on dirt or sand? Trying to help you out but there is alot of difference when it comes to gearing wether you are talking sand, dirt, or pavement. Dirt, with a 16/39 I can start in 2nd in the sand well got1 you are feeling some of those ponies.......i was going to say wait till you drag a pal up a steep hill then youll know you have some low end torque...or lug it up in 2cnd and you'll then feel the hp

Trying to help you out but there is alot of difference when it comes to gearing wether you are talking sand, dirt, or pavement. this is so true when i go to dumont dunes on this bike i run a 15 and it pulls the dunes in 6th no problem my trinity ported shee i run a 13 on and can get 6th.....sand does matter i think got1 is riding in the dirt....he should be able to go a 17 and still climb like a goat

  25. why have all the power without tall gearing?...thats the beauty of haveing 80 horses..a 13/40 would be 7 teeth lower than stock...my bike geared 17/40 will stand on end, speed shifting to third......i tryed a 14/41(stock) gearing on my bike and pretty much stood still smoking my tires shifting..plus do the math on a 13/40 gearing his top speed would be 70mph regardless if he had 500 horses or 50
