take some scotch brite or emery paper adn clean the edge of the slide and the bore of the carb. there is some casting marks on the slide that some times stick. my stockers did the same and after cleaning them up they never had a problem. might be worth a shot.

honestly you want to choke the bike to start it if you dont have to it usually a sign of too big of pilot. if it idles good or ok you might try a 50-52 pilot, you should get with jeff to see what his motors like.

first off, if it is truely a stroker it will have to have a plate under it or cut domes. i guess you could machine the stock head, but i would just a head. bore that bitch out, dont bore it if its over 80 thousands, usually if its a 4mm you have to run 795 pistons they come in 20 thous overbores. so has to be 20, 40, 60, 80. then get with david noss and get some cut domes for a 4mm stroke would be the best guess.

me to the rescue. wtf lol sorry dont have internet for the time being, anyways, i would say 55-58 pilot, dgk needle comes with 35s, but 5th clip with them, and 145 mains. bansheefreaks, and my motors both liked this jetting. we are at 1200 ft. you might be a bit rich but you can adjust from there. for sure 5th clip on the needle. it will like a rich mid. those domes will work great with 100LL,

50-52, mid clip, 150-152 mains.
