  1. first off there is a electrical plug on the carbs called tors unplug it. it will screw the bike up so its worthless. 2nd make sure the choke tube between the 2 carbs is connected. 3 your carbs are leaking gas cause the floats need to be adjusted. i think you set them at 17mm you flip the carbs over with the bowls off and from the base to the float top measure and adjust. jetting should be a 25 pilot, mid clip and 200 mains on a pure stocker clean your carbs, also hope some of this helps where do you live at???

  3. get rid of those 2-1 carbs setup on that cub. then you will be a lot happier.

  5. stockers you can get pretty close by lifting the slide till it hits the top of the bore and reach in with a finger and feel. make sure they feel the same amt on both sides. on any thing bigger yeah that tool jeff sells is the only way to go. works good on stockers but you can get them some what close on your own.
  6. the reason people send the bottom case out is so the builder can mock up the springs and adjust the spring tension, the shift forks are to have a bit like a pubic hair of clearance in the groove of the shift drum. trust me its a pain in the ass, lot easier to just have a guy do it for you.
  7. i would race you and who ever with my 450 against your shee 300ft drags, i smoke the locals shees all day long with it and its not even that mean of a 450. compared to say bbiii. 1/8 mile with 22 tires yeah your going to have the top end. the 450 are gears beyond low, with 20s shit even with 22s. they dont top out with a lot of speed. anyways did you hurt your arms?? i dont get the joke but ill ask also.

  11. his tripple ports on stock jugs run hard have heard that his cub porting isnt very nice at all. i agree with john post a pic.
  12. get with david noss dlnoss on here. he can make you any domes you want. also you should get it ported for the 4mm before getting all this stuff going. imo
  13. hmm the cases are metal to metal, so is many other things, probably why they use sealant to makes sure nothing leaks out. hence the use of ultra gray or yamabond, etc if a guy puts a 4mm crank and a plate with no porting then he deserves for it to run like ass. why even dick with it if your not going to do it correctly. and the plate motors i put together and seen usually the ones of jims, you put the bottom end together, spread ultra gray, yamabond, whatever, plate, spread ultra gray on top of the plate, then spread some on the bottom of the jugs with your fingers lightly, put jugs on the studs and torque down, let it setup, its basically completely seals up the whole thing, if it leaks its because you didnt put the ultra gray down correctly. like caulking your houses basically just seals up motors.

    your plate didnt get advanced by any chance did it. cause if you add 4 degs on the plate the dyna will still add whats on it. hmm sorry about your problems bet that got expensive.

    is your custom programmed or just the stock curve that come with it. will say curve 3 will rattle plugs out on mine, all depends on your setup. im looking to get complete reprogramed with more knowledge than i knew before, only time will tell.
  16. a 5/16 bolt bout 5 inchs long just cut the threads off, works great and cost very little.
  17. if you cant see the duct tape on your flag then your pretty much blind, and i wouldnt be puttting tape on my grab bar it will leave a stick residue and it wont be easy to see. like freak said, the 5 inch piece on your flag has been the way for last couple of yrs, noones had any issues so leave it the way its been. would like to see you talk RN BRAD into doing that tape on the grab bar, come brad lets make your bike beyond perrrrrrrdddddyyyy lol.
  18. take the cub off the motor, post pics of the domes, the bore, the exh port, intake port looking down, will be able to see if the plating gave or snagged a ring or knock. also dont understand you have all this money invested and running it on stock swinger ,etc a bike has a lot to do with setup not just motor. anyway tear it apart and post pics
  19. anti freeze/coolant sure seems to work very well in my truck and semi. really think my semi needs plenty of cooling being its 95 degs out and pulling in the hills.
