  1. i was wanting some advice on what would you do to make a strip or what would you have done. im thinking of setting up a 300 ft place in a town that i used to live at. was thinking of getting a tractor with a disc and work the ground up really well. over and over. then get a load of sand and put in it to help make it a little more compact for traction. was wondering on anyones thoughts wes
  2. im sure you can slam a huge turbo on it and get it to work. i know when i put a p-51 turbo on my buick, it pulled like a bitch compared to stock but had more lag somewhat. so what ever floats your boat. i can hook you up with a turbo off an big cam 4 cummins 400. 855 cubic inch i fyou want a bitch of one later
  3. mike dont be a puss lol joking hope you get your back figured out and all well. dont wreck any equipment at your work anymore also
  4. my case saver is the plastic one i can run a 16 pretty easy, a 17 i might have to do some sanding.
  5. with 20cc domes on had 155 psi at 900 ft elevation with my stock setup might clean your carbs out also you could have a plugged pilot jet
  6. i run 10 paddles. havent had a problem with them. i know bdbanshee does also. they hook up really well. i havent ever ran 8,9 paddles i dont see how 10 paddles kill your top speed. if they are 20 in they will be 20 in 8 or 10 paddles the same.
  7. i would ask to talk to some of his customers. maybe you can ride one of thier bikes to see how they act. if you get it done. post pics of the work
  8. one would think that a metro car being 1000cc displacement which is almost 3 times a much as a banshee, the turbo would be plenty big. i know from dicking with my turbo buick you cant slam a big turbo in for the power unless you have a 3000 + stall convetor cause of the lag. i would run a some what smaller turbo that boosts fast, and more boost to it, but dont get to carried away with boost. 7 psi is 50% more power. i like the idea of a computer setup up, really smart way of doing it. how are you going to do a fuel pump and what is your fuel pressures going to be at. i would port it, so its more effecient, it will me mostly mid to top and ways i would just drag port it with a good exhaust dur. to get the gases out. best of luck im sure it will fly

  11. its called an override tranny for drag racing only.
  12. swap a good coil to your bike or a good cdi box to see if that helps
  13. with 18 cc you should have way more compression i have 20 in 900 ft with 180 psi you might have a ignition thats going weak on the top end. might try a dyna system i run 100LL
  14. you can also take the spring to a bench grinder and grind on the outside edge all the way down back and forth, dont grind in one spot too much or it will cut it, just steady grindin on the whole thing it might take soem time but works really well
  15. you need to find out what needle you have. that makes a huge difference of what you stuff should be. if you have a needle thats lean down low your going to need a big pilot hopefully he didnt put a lean needle in. find out what needle it is
  16. ouch thats a stab hmm another lame seller?? god i hope not
  17. inside your clutch assembly is where the cable moves the arm it pushes a rod into a ball which spins, and then pushs against your clutch adjustment screw and nut against your pressure plate. some times the rod weld itself to the ball and causes not clutch at all. if you pull the lever and the cable moves the arm but feels like mush it most likely that. what exactly happened to cause this stuff, where you going down a hill at a fast rate of speed adn pull the clutch in. if so you aplied a bunch of force on the ball and there is nothing it can do but get hot and weld to the rod. the only way to fix it, is to split the cases and use a punch to drive the rod out, well thats what i had to do. they do make a kinda throw out bearing that solves this its called a pancake bearing. wickedatv.com sell them it called clutch pusher bearing or somethign like that. many other dealer or builder have them the best 50 buck you can invest in so your shit doesnt screw up again the way you are describing what is going on i would say thats your problem when you pull the lever does it feel like nothing and stay there, if so i bet 10 bucks thats what is going on http://www.wickedatv.com/duportal30/home/t...hannel=Products its called clutch pusher wes
  18. why buy cd when you get have XM sat radio
  19. game is pretty cool but man 4-5 wind speed you have to throw it against the wall almost to come close to the basket. but fun
  20. rabbit is really good, if its a tame one, wild ones are really gamey tasting and tough. the back bone or strip is the best and has the most meat. yummy
  21. it also depends on what needle you have. if its lean down low on the L1 spot then you will need a big pilot find or see what needle it has in it also my bike that last time it had it dyno jetted it had a 152 main and was still rich, by the time i get the fuel right down low, the guy told me i will need probably a 145 main. thats in ks, 900 ft elevations, 60 ish degrees
  22. they work good, can be a bitch to get to idle but if you get them sync right and adjusted good they will idle when the bike is warm
