No, you dont need to go out and weld your crank right now. It is just beter to do that because all two stroke crank will seperate over time and the more power you make the more faster it happens. You can take your jugs off and measure the amount of seperation (if any) that you have. Use the clymer manual. I have buddies that have had even thier welded cranks seperate, it just the nature of two strokes. Measure your crank seperation, if its within limits then your good, if its out of limits fix it cause it can become problems down the road.

my drain hole was plugged, it had a rock in it and a bunch of shit clogged it up.

The plastic cover that covers the flywheel/stator only has a generic rubber seal on it. Can I use yamabond along with that rubber thing? When I pulled the cover off there was a water pool in the bottom of the cover so I know it leaks. I try to avoid water but sometimes I cant.

I have my engine apart and my flywheel and stator are very rusty. The little black pick up thing on the stator has rust and the flywheel is covered in rust. the stator plate is corroded as hell too. My bike is an 03, should I replace thees parts? Could I get by with just a new stator and plate and keep my rusty flywheel? It looks terrible, I cant believe it runs. ps. is the ricky stator kit that cost $255 (flywheel, stator, plate) worth it?
