i drag a good bit on the street when i'm not riding in the woods so my uncle came up with a idea to make some wheelie bars so we can just dump rev and not feel like we are riding mouse traps and have the detachable(sp) so we can still play in the woods with only a few minutes work... we all ready got one bar done for my z400 we used some old skate board wheeles and some steel tubing not the lightest stuff but it was free. he welded it together havent had a chance to try one out yet but we are gonna make on for my banshee tomarow i'll be able to test the one for the z when my friend gets home since he's the only one out of the 2 of us that has a z thats runs. then we'll see what kinda starts i can get on the street when i dont gotta ride the clutch a bit to keep the front end down. just thoguth i would talk about it since i was excited. any body got some sturdy designs for the shee on ur bikes and what did you make yours out of?

i have ridden plenty of bikes with their pipes out at haspen acres and most of them well all but one of them didnt have any port work and they put out great power so any power upgrade isnt really a bad on in my opinion. so i dont really know what ur talkin bout there nax. they are person one of my favorite types of pipes i have riden and after you get a set of those pipes stuff you should check into getting a noss machine cool head. then you'll have a sweet runnin bike imo as long as its tuned correctly.

i have always had good luck from www.rockymountainatv.com and www.nossmachine.com even tho i only ordered a head from them he's got a good rep with every one else on here. theres another few ppl.

Jigglin Clutch Lever. Just Aggrivating!
bignasty1 replied to Sheeboy12's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
thats allot of play. are you still using the stock clutch perch? if so get rid of it and get a set of msr grip levers. i dont have any gingling with mine or my cr style clutch perch... -
since this old review i did got deleted i am still prety sure theres allot of ppl wanting to learn more about these great products so i am posting it again. i ordered my noss machine cool head and domes from www.nossmachine.com their service was some of the best service and quickest to answer my questions out of any other company i have worked with b4. and there are ass loads of ppl on here that will agree. there are many styles of the heads to choose from compared to other company's out there i chose a clean looking non anodized modle with 20cc domes. on this model you have to change out your studs but its no biggie at all. they also sell modles that you dont have to change the studs out and that come in variety of colors. well the instalation part only took a few minutes and was a breeze every thing was machined perfectly and all parts showed up promptly not all dinged up or looking like they have been dropped or anything. and once installed the head looked pretty damn sweet. after the install its been a few months and no leaks or anything like that just great looks and awsome perfomance gains. performance wise i could have asked for more. upping my compression has gave my bike a nice hit all the way through the power band and gave it allot more low end power. the more power made the bike much much easier to ride since there wasnt as much of a wait for the power to come on strong. this mod would actually be my first mod i would do to a stock bike over pipes. since it gives you loads of power every where and cost half as much as a set of nice pipes. well worth the cash i had to give for it and i recomend it to every one. if you have any questions dlnoss on these forums would be more than happy to help you. l8ter if you have any questions just ask and i will more than happy to answer ya and give you what info i can.l8ter blake

actually i would start a lil bigger than 320's i was runnin 340's and probly need to go up a size and your at sea level and i'm at 850 - 1000 ft. but you definately need the 30 pilots at least start with 330's or 340's and try ur needle in the 4th clip. you should be pretty close.

bignasty1 replied to bignasty1's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods

the fattys and gnarlys are very nice pipe i used to have a set of gnarlys i loved them they were great. check out the product reviews i did a decent review on them if you want to learn some more about the type of power the put out.

Idles Runs Strong But Now It Wont Die.
bignasty1 replied to bignasty1's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
okay i found the wire but my prob is that its comin out of the black box under the seat behind where the air box would be and its disconected inside the white connecter what do i do? and i like flauntin my dumbassness i love it to. dont ya just hate those nice big ol booties damn soft skin and tasty fur bergers. -
okay well i got the thing to idle finally it does that great got it jetted pretty much as spot on as i can with these nutty temp changes and i found out it doesnt die when i hit either one of the 3 ways to kill the motor so i gotta stall it to get it to shut off... my teather kill switch doesnt work my key switch doesnt work and my stock kill switch doesnt work where could the problem be at?it still runs starts and al the other bs but it doesnt die. ohh and i just bought a set of lazr lights what do i do to install them do they hook up just like stock or do i gotta cut shit up and connect things. l8ter blake

i wouldnt knock the fatty either i had the gnarly's(same as the fatty's) for a while and i loved them.
-
really it depends on your mods the big stretch bikes are modded to f*ck and back usually. but list ur mods and we can help ya. ohh and list where you ride.
-
hey mink your pm box is full. but any way i sent your money it will be there monday or tuesday. sent it ups. thanks again. l8ter
-
nope no advantages at all the same power curve and everything one set just looks better in my opinion.(916's are sweet)
-
i didnt even think about that it could be a possibility. i'll check into it. thanks.
-
okay well title says it all here are my mods (current jets) 370 mains, 30 pilots dynojet needles 4th clip and air fuel screws turned out 2 turns. elevation 850 ft above sea level temps mid 40-high 50's and it starts first or second kick so its prolly the right size jet and just i forgot sumthin and am a dumb ass bored 40. stock carbs with the tors removed and idle kit installed.(srews all the way in) k&n duals with outer wears rocket inframe drag pipes boysen reeds stock cages lightly polished exhuast ports +2 timing noss machine cool head wih 20 cc domes 155 lbs of comp each as of tonight on warm cylinders. ohh and i put a fuel filter on it i have read of ppl on here putting them on but i dont know if they have had any problems cuz of them.
-
if your wanting way more top end you would really benafit more from a set of duals over the single set up cuz with the single most ppl go to them for more low end not more top. and with goin to the plus 4 you will definatly want to switch just for the tuning reasons.
-
my guess is that they rev to about 8 g's could be wrong though and your gonna wanna put pipes on it eventually so your gonna wanna look for one that reads up to like 11g's or so just to be safe.
-
right on will do.
-
yeh i thought some one did post sumthin about them a while back but i wasnt lookin for lights then. any way i looked around and didnt see them b4 i posted so i figured f*ck it i'll just post again. thanks for the info i'll look into them.

hey abso have you ever been to cliff view trails down at the red river gorge? they are awsome. and i own 350 acres down by the gorge as well its another nice place to ride. have you ever gone to haspen acres its okay i got hit by some dumb ass down there when he was in a raill buggy didnt end up to well on my part i was one sore mofo.
-
i wish i would have thought about the holyman tech thing i forgot all about that. i just got done putin in my kick starter rebuild kit i dont care if it was a few bux it convieniently showed up at my door along with a few other parts i had ordered a while back and hav been waitin for and forgot about. it suck i had to rebuild mine cuz i was riding and the damn thing fell off and took all the lile parts inside with it so i kinda had no choice but to buy it it sucked i rode on a trip i had went 2 weeks back and the whole time i was there after i started my bike i had to put the starter back in my pocket and when i got stuck on a few hills it was a pretty shitty experience doin that on the hill but i had a good time...
-
if your stock i got my best starts on hard packed dirt in first just pull the clutch in revv it up a good bit and dump away you spin a bit but if its a problem you can allways short shift into second that way you dont even come close to boggin like you could startin in second. just what worked for me.
-
hmm i dont think mine puts the lil * in f*ck. well all be damned it does.
