i am lookin for some slicks they dont have to be the best i just plan on finding a track around here to let me run what size tire and rim combo should i go with? should i go with a 8 inch rim and like a 20 or 22 inch tire combo or is a 9 inch and 20 combo decent.

i say find another used one with more shit done to it for that price. you can find some good deals. i would never buy a new one personally i have made that mistake on my z400 i wish i could have bought a used one with shit done to it for a lower price and be just as happy and be savin cash at the same time but i had to be all impatient and get it the day it came out... so go for used not his for that price you could get more. just my opinion.

i had a set of gnarlys they are the same as the fatties and i liked them allot i just wanted more on top so i traded them out for a set of rocket inframes and they f-n rock. but any way the fmfs are nice pipes i would go ahead and get the fmf fattys that way you can still do porting down the rode if you choose cuz i herd the sst's suck ass after you port your motor.

hey banshee#48 why so big on the carbs what kinda porting you runnin if ya aint runnin any porting you'll be better off on stock carbs or 28's at the most and with that swing arm and no porting if you dont have it must be kinda hard to hook up. .

whats ur elevation tell us that and we will tell ya if your comp is low or not. and is this on a warm or cold engine?

yeh i am runnin casor 927 i just made the switch i am pretty happy with it so far i had my head off last night and took a peek at my pistons and they were pretty damn clean compared to my old ones when i was runnin klotz even tho i gotta order the shit cuz none of my dealers carry it its not a problem with me i just pay a lil more for shippin and i am allways ordering somethin else for one of my bikes or the other so its just as convienient just gotta make sure i aint runnin low cuz they dont express that shit for ya.

yeh at sea level i recomend 21's, 20's would be pushing it. just shoot him a email when you order and tell him what the deal is thats what i did and he mailed me back and told me what sizes to go with an i havent had a problem since i am at about 850 above and i got 157 with my 20's.

cpi's are definately not worse than both they are great oerforming pipe on non ported motors and even better on port motors. so i wouldnt bad mouth cpi either they are great pipes
