  1. The gallery & chat WILL be back up on this site. I will be purchasing two products that integrate with the forums. -Lee
  2. I will be modifying some new Themes/Skins soon. This will let you choose the style that fits best for each of you individually. I liked the previous forum's skin too, "SemiSwirl", but I don't believe they have it for this version of Invision. I'll look into it though, see if they've updated for this version. I like this theme (with the execption of the button text) since it is not graphic intensive. -Lee
  3. Happy Birthday!
  4. As I promised I would, I snapped a few pics at Sunday's MX Pro-Nationals in Southwick, MA. We got there at 9:00am, we didn't get the pit passes, but it was still a great day! I only got a few good pics but I've picked out some of the ones that weren't blurry or of riderless dirt. Evan Laughridge Greg Schnell James Stewart - I would have snapped a better picture but this kid is too fast for the camera!!! Nathan Ramsey And they're off

  6. How'we doin?
  7. 1) Do a windows update and make sure to get all the service packs/service releases for Win 98. 2) Upgrade to Internet Explorer 6 if it's not there already (click Help --> About Internet Explorer to find out what version you're running) Have you installed any new RAM lately? if so, it could be a bad stick of ram if it happens during multiple-program usage, etc. Of course without seeing the detailed error message w/ error codes one could assume many things. Try thinking about what uses the internet that you've installed just before the error(s) began occurring. Once you get the error again, check the Error Code. Below is a link to a site that references Windows Fatal Exception Errors and their codes. Click the link that corresponds with the error code you're getting and it should give you a fix/workaround or possible causes of the error. http://www.all-windows.com/win_exception2.html
  8. And if we have an itch, we can scratch ourselves just about anywhere (even in public) and nobody will think any different. But if a gal does the same thing, well, that's a different story.
  9. Dude, i feel your pain, that sucks a ton. Pansy bastards... it's true, they do that stuff because they're too chickenshit to confront you in person. One of the many great dialogues from Pulp Fiction: Vincent Vega: Boy, I wish I could've caught him doing it. I'd have given anything to catch that asshole doing it. It'd been worth him doing it just so I could've caught him doing it. Lance: What a fucker! Vincent Vega: What's more chickenshit than fucking with a man's automobile? I mean, don't f*ck with another man's vehicle. Lance: You don't do it. Vincent Vega: It's just against the rules.
  10. Right on bignasty! I just saw the video/heard the song for the first time tonight on the Rockzilla show (on FUSE). My jaw dropped when I saw it was made up of: Scott Weiland, Slash Duff McKagen, Matt Sorum. and Dave Kushner from Suicidal Tendencies! Manson DOES put a good show... pushes the limits in some areas, but that's what he's there for, and that's why we go see him. Almost as good as a Zombie show... Rob Zombie knows how to spend his tour budget... anyone seen his set about 4 years ago when he had ZombieTown (with the skull in the middle and spotlights for eyes), fire flaming out of oil drums, and of course Zombie's dancing girls. Doesn't get much better than a Zombie show if you're a metalhead.
  11. As much as I boycotted Metallica during the whole napster thing (basically I boycotted them cause they were making asses of themselves publicly..that and they screwed file sharing for a bit), I've got to say though that Seeing the Summer Sanitarium tour last year was one of my top 10 concerts I've ever been to. Mainly for seeing Linkin Park and Deftones again, this time at a stadium. But Metallica did put on a good show. Though their ending still seemed a bit too self-gratifying when they all bow & stay out there for a while so people can clap for them longer So who knows, maybe I haven't lost my nostalgia for the music of ol' Lars-&-Friends afterall... I wonder how the rest of St. Anger is.... hmm, I"ll just pull up my favorite underground file servers, err.. i mean head down to the CD store [wink wink; nudge nudge]
  12. I built the site based on the 'free exchange of information and ideals' theory. And when it really came right down to it in the past, nobody really favored a membership/subscription type of account. And I can't really say I disagree with that thought, as free sites kick ass. There's no such thing as a free lunch, and a site, especially one of this size, takes time. Time is more often than not, money. So it's a mixture. Whatever decision that I make ultimately will be in the persuit of moving forward, not selling out or giving up. I feel I must mention this because that impression is in the back of many minds I'm sure. It's all about change, growth, and other ventures. And now it's time for a bad analogy: You raise up a puppy, teach it and shape it into a healthy grown dog. Lots of fun along the way watching it progress, but someday you decide to part ways and allow what you've been part of for a while go to someone who can take it for the duration. Like I said, bad analogy. Where am i going with this post?
  13. Lee has been paying for the server that the BansheeHQ is hosted on for about 5 months now. Nice stab buddy, you believe everything you hear from dirty birdies? Trace the IP address of bansheehq.com ... oh look, it traces to where? florida.. Where do I live? Maine. Where do I work, Maine... Pocketing money, wow, why doyou have to turn this into a "let's go on the HQ & kick Lee in the balls" thread cb67rs1? Did your birdie tell you to do that?
  14. I stopped playing after FF7, just cause I've spent too many summers playing the previous ones. Lately, roommate's been playing the new Final Fantasy Online. Oh man, that would probably be the death of me. It engulfed him like Everquest does/did for so many people. Can't say I've given up on games altogether, hell no, but just RPG's I've had to cut myself free from. Call me old, but I'm still nostalgic about FF2, Secret of Mana and Secret of Evermore (to name a few).
  15. W.B. Lefty!
  16. As you probably have noticed we're back and good-to-go. The database table for the posts got corrupted, but to my knowledge, no data was lost. I was able to run a repair on 83,000+ posts and then optimize all tables. And a full backup of the database was performed afterward. cheers!
  17. The board is here to stay, that's for sure. The BS comes, and the BS goes, but we're still here . I agree with going with a fellow HQ'er for a pc. Dell's are great but if you have friends (or the HQ) to give you a hand with troubleshooting, who needs to be on hold with tech support? I'm thinking about building up a new PC myself... Athlon XP2100 or higher probably. I have 1/2 the parts sitting right next to my desk haha. might as well finish it off.
  18. I any offer I accept, would be from someone keeping it as a Banshee site, just as it is now. I wouldn't 'sell out' in that sense. Like I say, I wouldn't leave all of you without the site, like that. If I cannot accept any offers by some time in May, I will resume the site myself. -Lee
  19. I have un-banned brooke due to popular vote. As a side note, the site will be up for bidding soon. I have a job, always have, to pay my rent. This has always been a side project for me and I was hopeful that someday it would pay for itself so I could spend more time with this site as well as create other sites like it. Time for me to concentrate on my job I guess. Thanks everyone for a great six years. As for the HQ server, anyone need hosting?
  20. you all are killing me here with the machines. Another month & I'll have one of my own! Nice rides!
  21. Yes, please. I'll try to get them up right away when I receive them but they'll be the same day either way.
  22. Feel free to email it to me: [email protected] and I will add it for you. Thanks -Lee
  23. I'm still on my 8088. Who needs more than 64kb of ram and 20mb of hard drive space anyways? $ cd /var/home/ $ sh pleasework-1.0.sh
  24. I'm sure we'll get another yard monkey soon enough. I've come to expect it.
