doing burnouts w/ paddles just sounds like those people with more money than they know what to do with. I stopped squealing my tires in my cars/trucks when I had to pay for them myself (which was pretty much the whole time).

Very nice! I think we need these monthly pics up in the downloads section of the HQ... Hmmm. Whatta'ya say Ben?

An mp3 from the new Skin Industries label: HB Surround Sound: http://www.skinindustries.com/mp3/bigtruck.mp3 (probably not suitable for the office listening) If you liked that song, you can hit up their site at: http://www.hbsurroundsound.com/

It don't believe it's anything added recently to the bansheehq causing any slowdowns. I am checking out the server to see if it's another site on the HQ server that might be the bandwidth hog.

Yea the games and features look pretty cool, Im pretty impressed so far. I'll give more feedback as the experience continues. I snagged the Tetris highscore while the gettin was good. Hell Lee's prolly at it again gettin me back 287897[/snapback] Somebody stop this guy! haha RNBRAD is grand champion so far. Good to see I'm not the only tetris freak. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who signed up already. It's good to see a turnout like this. It's definitely motivation for me to make time to keep adding stuff. More games will come, as well as some other goodies/features as I come acrossed them. So what you get today as a premium member is only the beginning of what you will be getting from here-on-in! In response to LedoftheZep's question; yes, I can definitely set up some Premium forums that are only accessible to premium member accounts. I wanted to do that initially but I figured we could all collaborate on what forums premium members would like to have. The possibilities are endless. Thanks again all! Enjoy the features! -Lee

I would like to note, since I'm sure you all may be wondering. The Premium Membership benefits and features are in addition to the features you've been using all along. If you was to stay as a standard member, you would continue to have the settings you've seen since the launch of the last upgrade (about a month ago). The only thing I've had to change (which when setting up the Premium configurations I noticed this); that the galleries were set to allow unlimited pictures posted to them. As you could imagine, that could do some damage if a thousand people decided to put a lot of images on. Therefore I fixed a setting that I should have from the installation of the gallery. Other than the minor gallery setting, the rest is hq-as-usual for your settings and features. The Premium Membership offers a lot of cool benefits, i personally feel. Any questions anyone has about it, please feel free to reply here or PM me. I've pinned the topic for this purpose. Thanks all ! -Lee P.S. Someone needs to beat my Tetris score in the arcade... It's addicting!

yeah i was thinking Grey Goose, Strippers, and some cranberry sauce this year. (the cheap-ass gelled kind of cranberry sauce too, since i'll be spending all the money on strippers and the goose) seriously though, Have a great Turkey Day!

Moved to the Roosting Room We're all members here & will have a difference of opinion. I won't make the judgment call on who bashed who, or whatever, but since it turned into a pissing match, I've gotta move it....

Yeah i just read the article. that sucks. R.I.P. , O.D.B.... It's true... the wu will never be the same. according to the article i just read: The cause of death was not immediately clear, but O.D.B. had recently finished a prison sentence for drug possession and escaping a rehab clinic. He would have turned 36 on Monday. article here

Bit Torrent is the only way to go. screw getting samples of britney spears when you're trying to download the Deftones - Engine No. 9 on kazaa and morpheus. Seriously. it's the pro way to go. Takes some learning to get the methodology/brilliance of the network, but it's by far superior. But maintain the Torrent etiquette, and leave them torrents open after they've downloaded. it's the way it all works. (I leave mine open until i've uploaded twice what i've downloaded in megs). I do agree that Ares is quick and easy if you just want one song. I love archive.org's live music torrent finder. And there used to be a site called Sharing the Groove but that went down mysteriously. I still buy music, especially from my favorite, local, and indie artists that do need the money to make it. If the band flies in a G5 jet, I don't buy their stuff. they have too damned much money for their own good.
-
Ok, remind me not to buy that then. Well, there's always QuadRacer Extreme, or as I like to call it "Gone Huntin' "

OH HELL YEAH!!

That's too much. I just saw that the other night. In between watching the game, we flipped it onto SNL & she was just dancing around but not singing. I figured her mic didn't work. hahahaha! can you say, for those who recall, Milli Vanilli (don't worry, that's not a link to a milli vanilli site)

led, do you have the latest flash plugin installed for your browser?

I do wish however, that the Sox were up against Oakland. It would nostalgic, at least for me. I remember games my aunt would take me to as a kid. We'd hop a bus to bean-town and watch Boston vs. either Oakland or St. Louis. For me, as a kid, Oakland was my 2nd favorite team (aside form the loyalty to the home team Boston). So it didn't matter who won. Watching your two favorite teams play a game of baseball right in front of your eyes; as a kid I couldn't have asked for anything better. Today, I'm glad to see Boston in it, and to play close games; just to get that feeling again. IMHO, it's a good year in baseball.
-
6-2! Go Boston!! I love good games. Last night St. Louis put a valiant effort in against Boston. Tonight I think Boston just simply played well. ... with the exception of the pop-fly mishap of course...(communication boston!) anyways, good games, good times. That's what Baseball is all about.

Good idea. something I've been thinking about actually for a while. I'll see what I can come up with guys! Also, an HQ surprise is coming up in November... so there'll be a surprise for november and I'll see what I can come up with for November/December. The Godfather's got ya covered. Stay tuned! -Lee

have they ever made a banshee video game
Lee replied to MudSlinger09's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Not sure if it'll have banshee's in it but I just posted the press release for this upcoming game. The game combines both dirtbikes and quads. http://www.bansheehq.com/index.php?option=...&id=64&Itemid=2 -
Actually, Invision only gives this: The host name for 24.218.135.33 is h00010242f9fb.ne.client2.attbi.com Which is just a reverse DNS lookup. You have to do other non-forum functions to get the rest. Either way, any further noise from him and i'll have a chat with comcast. They were cool when I was tracking down a DOS attack a while back.
