Redtrinity was banned for using the HQ as his personal trash can. C'mon, by now you all know me. It doesn't fly with me. Talk about whatever site you want, but you don't go to a site, and bash the owner, it's members, or the site simply for the sake of bashing; unless you're ready to be banned. Then I get emails and concerns from people who are looking for info; and they go to the general forum, only find a thread like that on the top of the list. That may sway someone from becoming a valued part of the HQ community. I figure I was justified in removing that thread -Lee <---- "Hooray for the delete button!"

Good news guys (and gals)! I just installed a "hot or not"-style system that allows you to upload your banshee girliez, and the rest of us can rate them. Just like on hot or not. I will be testing it with a fellow HQ-er, within the next day and we will put it online for all to have at it. I'm anxious to see the pics roll in and to see what you all have in store for all of us. Next up of course will be the main BansheeHQ Gallery, which was what Wallrat had mentioned seeing. I have taken it down since it is a bit buggy, but I will work out the kinks and get that rolling as well very soon. -Lee

I think a big reason is that during the transformation to the new forums, many small threads, which contained some good info for people w/ commonly asked and minor questions, were removed for conversion reasons. Once these are back in the forums again for a period of time, and the forums build back up to par (I'm sure it won't be long), we'll see things start to normalize again. If you see someone double posting, you can let me know of the thread & I will remove the extra posts. Simply click on the Report button to send the thread URL and info to me. Collectively, we can whip this back into shape again in no time. As for Stang.. if you see him back on, let me know. I banned him. Thanks! -Lee

However, the addition of the mods were to even out the filtering of things such as some of the nasty pics that have been posted before, cut down on flame-wars (or at least direct them to the roosting room), and to keep the site going in the right direction, so that we can all find the answers we're looking for about the banshee, as well as have a tidy place for chatting with all the HQ'ers. At one point, about 15 forum cateories-ago, I was able to read almost every post, but with 20 categories, and 1.8 million hits per month of traffic, it is more than I can take on. We'll keep the modding on the downlow as far as deleting posts & such. Just want to keep things going well. Thanks guys! -Lee

Actually, she was an administrator. I founded the site solely in 1998. In 2002, I brought on the help of Brooke to manage things, which she did a great job of btw.

I have two themes/skins you may choose from for layout. If you go into the "My Controls" section, scroll down until you see "Skins and Languages". Click that link. From there you may change to either theme. Most likely I will add more in the future. -Lee

That thread is great! I know I went crazy the last few days! I sent that thread to a friend who doesn't visit the HQ much and said, "see what kind of dedication HQ'ers have!?"

Hey thanks guys!! And most definitely I will offer image uploading. They have some pretty neat mods for this software that i can try out as well. How does everyone like the new color scheme/layout? Or did you like the previous blue-white color scheme/layout before? Just curious. It's pretty easy to change the scheme since it's all skin-based. Thanks again, -Lee

First of all I wanted to thank all HQ'ers for being patient and supporting the HQ through this transition. The new forums will offer a much better experience overall, as well as functional. You may probably notice that not all posts and topics from the previous forum are here. In order to make the conversion from a very large database to the new InvisionBoard database, I had to ixnay any thread that did not have a reply within 10 days of it being posted. I'm sure you will all understand. This in turn will clean up the forums and allow for speedy page-loading and browsing. Most everything converted just fine, however you may need to re-upload your avatar you had before or re-select an avatar from our gallery in your profile page. Over the next few days you will see a slight transformation into a format that is customized for all of you, Banshee-riders. I won't take up too much time and writing books, but again, I wanted to thank everyone for being patient with me and that I hope you will find the new forums to be a change for the better. If you have any problems with your username and/or password, feel free to email me.
