He thinks he's hot shit, but I found his IP address to be the same as two other members, which COULD... mean three accounts belong to one person. His IP, and all three accounts were banned earlier this week when he first posted. Please let me know if you see him posting anymore or if anyone else mentions they were 'hacked'. There will be bigger changes coming up soon for the BHQ which will hopefully stop all the rivalry and hostility between members who have been here a long time and who have contributed much banshee knowledge to newcomers. Spring is near, and so is the spring/summer riding season. But before the hits us, the mud season must come. That's a whole other riding experience in it's own! After March 31th there will be a new winner chosen for the spring header image. What I need from you: The best photo you have of YOUR Banshee mixing it up through the mud, dirt, rain, whatever spring entails. As long as it's an action shot of YOUR Banshee, we need it. What we're going to do: I will pick the gnarliest, most usable, picture for the header. (If there are a couple good ones, I'll rotate the header with the ones we choose), but most likely there'll only be one this time. What you get if you win the Spring Header Contest: A free BansheeHQ t-shirt. If mutliple images are chosen, each winner will receive a t-shirt. Only one picture per person, so please only post your best one. How to do this thing Please reply to this post, and attach your image (or give a link where I can jump to it and see the image. Please make sure the image is as big (or larger) than the header graphic (of the banshee) that is up on the HQ currently. That's it! Please have them in by March 31st. I second Motoboy's thread! I as well am appreciative of many of the HQ member's that contribute on a regular basis and have helped the BHQ grow to where it is today. One thing that sets the BHQ aside from other sites is the members. I designed the HQ from the get-go as an inviting environment, in hopes that it would carry that sort of atmosphere along the way. Thanks to the support of many members, it has been just that and continues to be. Good to see posts like yours Motoboy. I'm sure the members who help out here feel a little bit better about helping when they know it's appreciated. -L

It's not bad enough that we (bikers) have to watch out for people who stop quick or don't look to their left when they lane change, etc... now we have to watch for people getting ideas from this ass! Or he himself! Don't screw with bikers on the road... we're not nice to people who cut us off.. A riding buddy and I were cruising along and a car saw him, cut him off (almost sending him into a ditch), so he pulled up beside their minivan & kicked the side of it.. needless to say we took off from that point so they couldn't get our plate #'s but... long story short, "do unto others"...

I was member #1 since I built the site 8 years ago. I've done many versions of the site since then though, but.. hell I'm not giving up my #1 spot.. it's the only thing I'm #1 at.

A friend of mine when he lived in Florida bought a part on eBay from a guy in a nearby state... Sent the money via paypal. Guy gave him good feedback for paying. My buddy never got the part. So on his way up to maine during a vaca, he took a swing over to the sellers house. Knocked on the door. He said "hey is this where ______ _______ lives?" the guy was like "umm, yeah that's me", my buddy said "cool, so uhhh, where's my shit?" after showing him the receipt of payment from paypal, the guy went, "hold on..." and came out with his parts... haha It was hilarious.

Meat, not sure if it's our avatars that make us seem like we have a lot in common or not, but damn dude I know what you're saying... I've never got a gift over the value of $150.... and that was when I was 13 and got some game system. Not that really care, I don't expect anything, but it's the amazement of what some people get. Amazing. cool for them i guess but wow. But luckily I'm at an age where I could care less, as long as I get to spoil all my neices & nephews. That's the fun part about christmas. Oh, and on christmas eve, having a huge party every year & getting tipsy!

Since google began, their theory was that they can find what you are looking for. So to prove their point,(early on), they put the "i'm feeling lucky" button. Instead of seeing a list of results it will pick the best result, based on your search criteria. Aside from that, google has all kinds of 'easter eggs' embedded in their system. Try searching these words & click on "I'm feeling lucky" button: asshole OR French Military Victories (notice what it asks you "do you mean...") These above as well as the failure one, are called GoogleBombs. Basically not a result of anything within Google's programming. They are created by people who boost a site and link to a particular site with keywords. If enough links go to that site/page, which contain that keyword, google's search automatically thinks that it's a valid or best-fitting "i'm feeling lucky" or top-ranked site for those keywords. So if you don't hate george bush, then don't blame google for that one... and FYI if you search google on some other countries' google sites, you'll find the result will be michael moore, instead of ol' dubya. As an alternative, google HAS put these in place from within the company, probably by employees just having fun. They're cool to check out but they don't do much.
