  3. Can you adjust the cable more... to verify its just a slide hight issue?

  5. Ok so I recently just rebuilt my banshee it is a 421 assassin and I got everything together It will start up first or second kick but then require throttle to keep it idling and if you let off it will die almost immediately we have leak down tested it on the bench lost zero psi in 15 minutes we compression tested it and it’s doing 130 in both Cylinders we’ve OHM tested every electrical component and it is all within spec i’ve set the bowl heights and clean the carbs very thoroughly they are 33 mm PWK’s The air screws don’t change anything the idle screws don’t change anything the pilot jet is a 52 I’m not to sure what it could even be at this point any help will be very much appreciated Thank You

  14. Does anyone here currently use or have used either one of Chariot Performances Intakes or Billet Reed Cages ? On Saturday when I was installing my new fuel lines I happened noticed that both my stock intake boots have some cracks around the area where the clamps are for the crossover tube. I also noticed that the reed gaskets are seeping fuel a long the underside of the reeds. So any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jake
  15. Here’s what I have stock banshee with cool head 21cc domes, fmf gold series , no airbox pod filters, and stock 26mm carbs it starts first kick and idles great but bog’s slightly on takeoff but clears up a couple seconds later and it sounds funny on the top end like it’s not revving out raspy sound north Florida sea level 30 pilots 300 mains needle clip 3rd position got a lil better when I made it richer but still didn’t fix the problem. air screws at 1.5 should I go bigger on the main? Should I change the pilot? Please help
  16. @DonJuan I’ll break it down for you. With a 10x6 wheel. The 10 means the rim size and the 6 means the width of the rim. Here is an example. Let’s just say you bought a tire in this size 18.0 X 5.5-10. So it would work like this. The 18.0 would be the outside diameter of the tire and the 5.5 would be the width of the tire and the 10 is the rim size. So if the new tires you have bought say ??.0 x 5.5-10 then YES they will fit on your stock banshee rims.
  17. Depending on if you’re planning to do some riding this weekend then the best thing to do is go your local dealership and get some of the Motion Pro Gray Tygon fuel line. I would suggest buying at least 3ft of it. Then if you’re looking for the clean look of the OEM fuel lines then check out either https://www.motosport.com/ or https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/ and look under OEM parts for the 3 fuel lines that you need.
  18. Question everyone. My 03 stock banshee rim says 10x6 and these new tires i got say 10x5.5 on them… will these work? Or no.
  19. @JerzOutlaw350Thanks for the info about the fuel hoses. I just got done checking the fuel hoses and you were right they are semi stiff and when I went to bent the hose it cracked. So it looks like I need to get some new fuel hose tomorrow. Thanks again for helping me out. Thanks Jake
  20. Have you ever replaced the oem fuel hoses going to the cabs? As the fuel hoses age they tend to get stiff and then they begin to leak because they lose their grip on the fittings. Check the fuel hoses before you do anything.
  21. It was a really good time even though I never got the banshee on the sand. Lots of cools vehicles to watch. We are planning a trip back, but now we want to take our trucks, and sxs, and bikes, so I need a semi truck and trailer lol. I was unaward of the requirement for richer jetting, I appreciate the heads up. I am not sure why the oring let go. The head was on the bike when I got it. It is a pro design head and the domes are in pretty rough shape. I am ordering another set of domes and will go from there. Right now, it has 21cc domes. They cylinder has been ported, raising the exhaust port a bit loosing some compression. With it only cranking at 130, I am considering going to a 20 or 19cc dome to get closer to 150 psi. From what I have read, 150 seems to be the cutoff for pump 93 octane.
  22. The carburetor on the left side (Choke side) is leaking fuel from where the fuel fitting looks to be pressed into the carburetor body. I tried to wiggle it to see if it is loose and it wasn’t loose. Is there any way to fix it ? Thanks Jake
  23. Take a good look at things to determine why it blew the oring. We're going to Silver Lake soon from Northeast Ohio. Don't know what kind of riding you do at home but to power through the sand and up those hills it'll generally require a little richer jetting.
