One piece cylinder base gasket

I'm overhauling my top end I ordered my pistons and gaskets. They came in today, instead of geting two base gaskets I got a one piece metal re enforced gasket that looks like it's made for cub cylinders, the area between the jugs is real narrow, has anyone ran one of these

I think you should be alright man whats the thinkness of the base gasket?

you could try yamabond if your worried about it. its what i usualy run.

the gasket is .028 thick, i called the place backk that sold it to me and they said to run it, they said its what they use on there builds and when they port the jugs

I am running the same gasket. A little more difficult to match to the cases and your jugs if they are matched to each other but not bad. I just used a drimmel.

I have same problem had to get new gaskets cause some how water had bubbled up under my base gasket guessing water jacket plugs leaked but do ya really have to trim it
