I don't want this to come off like I am bad mouthing Jim, but i sent him my engine about 10 weeks ago, he said it would be 6-8 weeks and i would have it back.. I call out there and his wife always answers and says that he isn't available and that he will call me back. He hasn't called. Has anyone else had to wait a long time to get your engine back from him?

Jim has a full time job during the day thats why you get his old lady. Not sure why he isnt calling you back. But this time of year is when all the builders start to get swamped.

I sent my motor to Jim, it took alittle longer than expected, and yes sometimes he was hard to get in touch with, but all in all, My bike runs so damm good now that I dont care how long it too bc it was well worth the wait..

just be all patient, he will call you back, he always does..

You can even try sending him an email, sometimes he would respond faster to them...

good luck bro

take my word, it will be worth the wait. when a busy builder says 6 to 8 weeks. that means 10 to 14 weeks. believe me i have had many many motors built.i just finished up putting together a kids bike from here, passion 12 port 4 mil. it was a stout mother fuckin beast.

Jim is backed up pretty good, the ice storm they had really held him back. He dident have power for around 9 days. Dont worry though Jim will take care of you and you wont be disappointed. Hes been really working his ass off to catch up

Thanks guys... It is just starting to get warm here in good ol' Indiana and I am itching to ride.. He told me that he was 30 deep when I first talked to him when i sent it out there. I didnt know that he had a full time job outside of his business. Thanks for the input..

Yea it took 3 months to get my cylinders back from patriot racing. All I had done was a resleeve job and have the porting matched up to the current port job. All the big builders take time.

it sucks but what can you do. jim isnt the quickest porter, but does a great job. he gets sidetracked like a mofo, got more ovens in the fire than you would believe. and a bit of o.c.d

my first motor was suppose to be done in 2 months dead of winter wasnt in a hurry but took 3+ but i take my stuff down there when im not in a hurry

my motors down there trying to figure something out on it. i knew it would be a bit. so dont worry.

also call his cell phone. 918 232 3950

best time is around noon he is on lunch. but again he works as a mechanic during the day. and ports at nite.

He has my cylinders and crank. So far, he's returned ALL my calls and has maintained good communication. As stated, all these builders are backed up right now. Patience, besides, he's doing my motor first.
