pepehaha
Hello, Iam rebuilding my shee. I have succesfully mounted LT aarms with elka LT shocks(quadrate), it looks supercool. But I have 3 problems with other mounting: Brakes I have installed extended break lines, filled the brake fluid in, ut the brake fluid still cant get throught the brake lines to the brakes Pipes - T5 I bought a set of used t5 pipes, but I have two problems with fitting them in: Firstly, the part 1 doesn't fit to the part two on this picture: http://rs259tg.rapidshare.com/files/93983780/2.jpg Secondly, same problem. The part 1 doesn't fit to the part two on this picture:http://rs259cg.rapidshare.com/files/93983781/3.jpg I would like to please you toadvice me Thanks! Btw: the pic how does it look from the front now: http://rs259cg.rapidshare.com/files/93983779/1.jpg (sorry for bad pic)
yamaha04
move the pipe around alittle. make sure its on the cylinders all the way. and lossen that mount so you cam swing it around and bolt them pipe to it whenever it lines up. bbcmudtruck
I think the fitment of the t5s could be a little better also. If you can't get the stock mounts to fit, you could buy some aftermarket billet adjustable ones for about $40 and it looks a whole lot better. As far as your brakes go, bolt everything up the way it is supposed to be. Fill the resivore and crack both of the bleeders. Keep an eye on the fluid level and keep it full for 10 min or so. Shut the bleeders off, put the cover back on and give it a try. Let us know how it goes for ya. Your machine is looking real good man, and your screen name is pretty dam funny too! theshee
Loosen that mounting bracket and turn it down so the it lines up. The mount is just way to high for any aftermarket pipe.
bbcmudtruck
I just noticed your silencer picture. I think your gonna need a rear hanger of some sorts. I don't think you want to mount it directly to the frame. Here is a pic of mine. A little bit loud, but I have a hush kit The only problem are still the front brakes Could someone please write an how-to fr me? I know its a retarded question but I have never done it before:( And also, what is thee bleeder? A,B or something else? http://rs372tl3.rapidshare.com/files/95070707/brake.jpg Thank you very much! yamaha04
ok the bleeder is B in your pick. open the bleeder on one side. let the air/fluid come out then close the bleeder. then pump the hand brake a couple times then get someone to hold it on and crack the bleeder again. let the air/ fluid come out then close the bleeder again. pump the front brake a few times then get someone to hold it then open the bleeder again. left all the air. fluid come out. keep doing these steps over and over again until you get no air and just fluid coming out. you will know when its good because when your holding the brake on and you open the bleeder it should shoot fluid about 3 to 5 feet. lol then start on the other side and do the same. oh yeah when you are bleeding the brake you need to keep and eye on the brake resovior make sure its full all the time. some people ahve a hard time bleeding the brakes so iv herd they just open the bleeders alittle bit and let the bike sit for awhile coule hours maybe even a day. this will alowe the fluid to run down the lines and fill the caliper itself and ussualy pushes out the air. BellicoseBanshee
Attach rubber hoses to the bleed fittings and catch the fluid in a bucket...
dragbanshee
Open the bleeders slowly and very little, just enough to see fluid moving, hold brake lever till you snug bleeder back up. Just keep working on it , it takes forever to get air out of the new lines. Good Luck!
