sheerider1026 Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 sounds like it blew the reeds.. thats the first thing i would check, let us know Quote
blueboy22 Posted January 27, 2008 Author Report Posted January 27, 2008 took everything apart and looked at the reeds last night and their all fine....anything else it could be? i remember a vibration when i started it last and noticed the right side wasn't running...could this pinpoint anything? just a spark plug or should i pull the head off and check everything? sheerider1026 Posted January 27, 2008 Report Posted January 27, 2008 check the plug and replace it, check for fire, is the plug wet when u take it out? check for compression. something should show itself, Quote
blueboy22 Posted January 27, 2008 Author Report Posted January 27, 2008 changed the plugs today fired right up but the right sides still not kickin in and vibrates everything on throttle...pulled the plug again and checked it and it was a lil wet....where would the airleak be coming from...? anyother ideas?! woodro77 Posted January 28, 2008 Report Posted January 28, 2008 check to see if the side that is not firing is getting spark . . if no spark then check the compression with a guage . post answers and we'll go on from there . Quote

Mods? A backfire when starting is usually too rich. When taching it out through the gears and it backfires its too lean usually. Quote

akita8 Posted March 12, 2008 Report Posted March 12, 2008 Check the wire harness on the rt aft side leading from the CDI. Sometimes it can melt to the pipe. Quote
