2strokespirit Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 who sells these head for the RZs? except pro design? Thanks Quote
Yaxy Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 I am not aware of anyone else that makes them but Pro-design. Is there a specific reason why you are asking? Chris Quote
RZBansheeMan Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 I have the Pro-Design for mine, I ended up getting it from E-Gay, I think I have read on the RD/RZ forums that there was another company that made some, but couldn't remember who. One thing that is nice about the cool head is it doesn't have the thermostat housing on it. Mike Quote

Mike i am needing to buy an rz cool head soon for my banshee as well, and i was wondering about the thermostat housing also. so, is the water outlet on the pro design rz the same as the banshee? what about the provision for the temp sender, and the bypass? one last question, does the rz cool head use the oem yamaha head nuts, or is it the same as cool head for banshee? thanks Quote
RZBansheeMan Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 The "RZ" cool head has a bolt on front water outlet, it points up like a "RZ" head does but doesn't have the thermostat housing. If I remeber correctly it has a bypass nipple and a hole to thread in a coolant temp sensor. It requires the same longer studs that a Banshee cool head uses and the same style nuts that the Banshee head uses also. Mike Quote

nunyabinness Posted October 11, 2007 Report Posted October 11, 2007 you also might talk to NOSS MACHINE. i sent him a rz350 head a few months back and he was looking to take measurements so he could start making them. i don't know if he ever got a chance to do it yet or not, but if he has i know he makes a great product. plus he's a great guy to deal with. I talked to Dave a month and a half ago maybe, He said that he had the RZ head there but hadn't done anything about making any yet. I would prefer to have one of his, if he starts making them.
