91tsiawd Posted May 23, 2007 Report Posted May 23, 2007 (edited) I'm new to the forum, so I'll start by telling you I just picked up a 99 Banshee with FMF pipes, silencers, K&N filter, Boyseen reeds, etc. After a day of owning it I decided I needed more, So I called F.A.S.T. to place an order but was unable to reach anyone (very busy guys). So I called Noss Machine and ordered a head with 21cc domes. Nothing but the best service. Dave answered all of my questions, and went above and beyond to make sure I only ordered what I needed and gave me ideas for some future parts (not even sold by him). I had the head shipped next day, bolted it on and noticed a huge diffrence in throttle response (no longer feels like any of the Banshees I've owned in the past). I would recommend his heads to anyone who is looking for a top quality machined head. On to F.A.S.T. I left them a message, but realized they were trying to get motors out before memorial weekend so I didn't expect to him from them untill the following week. I guess I was wrong since at 9:00pm I get a call about my order. They asked about my plans for the Banshee and then actually cut down my parts list explaining to me that some of the parts were not worth ordering at this time. Overall I'm blown away by how great these two vendors treated me. It's great to know shops like this still exist. Edited May 23, 2007 by 91tsiawd Quote

peak-j Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 I also did all my business with Jeff so far and you couldn't ask for better service. Quote
BellicoseBanshee Posted May 24, 2007 Report Posted May 24, 2007 I purchased a head from Noss Machine, and Dave is one of the best. After I recieved the head, I called to ask a simple question. We talked about the head for two minutes and then talked about old school three-wheelers and dirt bikes for about twenty minutes. I would highly recommend Noss Machine to anyone! Quote
DSSA Posted July 17, 2007 Report Posted July 17, 2007 I'm new to the forum, so I'll start by telling you I just picked up a 99 Banshee with FMF pipes, silencers, K&N filter, Boyseen reeds, etc. Awww...that's sweet. Now let's all have s'mores, and sing Ku Bah Ya. Do you like long walks on the beach as well? In all seriousness. I've dealt with both vendors as well and have had nothing but positive experiences. Noss especially---the guy seemingly wants to update you when the parts are ready, when they've been boxed, when the label has been applied, and when the UPS guy has taken it from the building. You simply DO NOT get service like that these days from anywhere else. My only complaint is that he doesn't make more products for me to buy! Quote

He's my younger brother, and kicking him around keeps him in line. :yucky: Dave and Jeff have been great though. Dave's machining is top notch as well. We've got two CNCs in-house, so that's coming from someone who has seen a lot of machining. Edited July 18, 2007 by DSSA Quote
