bigboybanshee Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Is she a wife or girlfriend? Wife = raptor 700 Girlfriend = buys her own quad Quote
RIPPEN Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 I think in order for us to help you out you need to post a pic of her.. Oh, sorry man.. Seeing the girls gone wild thread back up is warping the brain.. :yelrotflmao: Congrats on her getting the "sickness".. If she can start it, ride it, and physicly turn it(by hand) I would get her a Banshee.. Otherwise with electric start and reverse the 4 pokes are much more user friendly machine and over time she may enjoy that more.. Good luck. RIPPEN Quote
cam2 Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Is she a wife or girlfriend? Wife = raptor 700 Girlfriend = buys her own quad well said. Quote

Animalman294 Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 girl friend = buys her own wife with full life insurance plan = drag banshee with cut brake lines and stuck throttle OOOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhhhhh shit, :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: It took me five minutes to get off the floor after reading that one................... If it were me I would get what she wants, but it would be mine until we got married and I would crank the throttle screw down on the thumb lever until she got the hang of it. alf44 Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 My wife started on a 400ex last year. We piped it, jetted it, put a rev box on it and a k&n filter and she loves it. We are putting a 416 kit on it now. Once the start they cant stop either! S be prepared! Quote
dawarriorman Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Is she a wife or girlfriend? Wife = raptor 700 Girlfriend = buys her own quad Exactly. Or, if she's a girlfriend and you're that pussy whipped that you're going to buy something for her, at least buy it in your name. She can ride it whenever she wants, but she should respect the fact that its your money paying for the really expensive toy. Don't GIVE her anything. Quote
STLBILL Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Check with a licensed attorney in your area. I doubt putting it in your name will do much. It may still be considered a gift. Ask anyone who has financed an engagement ring and tried to get it back when the relationship goes bad. Now then back to the original topic. You asked what quad and all the amateur lawyers on here are writing you a prenup... :yelrotflmao: I say give it some time. Ensure her new found ATV fancy is not a reaction that will fade soon after spending over $6K on a quad which depreciates faster than you can sign the check. If some time has passed and she still has the urge then go grab an an 'EX or a Raptor. My personal opinion is the YFZ450 and 450R are too race-ready for a first quad and/or someone with just a few hours experience. All of those bikes will pull 110lbs around fast enough to kill her if she isn't careful. Quote
White06Shee Posted March 8, 2007 Author Report Posted March 8, 2007 She IS My Wife, I Explained Everything To Her About The Shee And She Had Problems At First Kick Starting It ANd She Wants An Electric Start But I Was Thinking About The Honda 450 For A Starter Bike FOr Her But I Have Been Saving Up To Buy Myself A yfz450 Abd I Dug Myself A Whole Buy Leting Her Ride The Shee So I Gatta Get Her A Quad Just DOnt KNow What TO Get Quote
Trick2stroke Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 Just because you can "ride" a banshee in no way means you can fully handle one. For a beginner with limited experience it would be very wise to keep her on something alittle more mild, something along the lines of a 400 ex, a modded blaster, (both of which can be had cheap) or even a z/kfx400 then when she's ready to move up after she gets some hours in you can sell for about what you paid if you find a good enough deal and bump her up to the big toys. I have friends that can "ride" my banshee, but that's a loose term and in no way means they have the experience to handle the full power of it under most riding conditions. You don't want her getting hurt, those 450's are not toys and will get away from someone inexpereienced. Quote
