hey guys just like the tittle says.some guy at work wants me to pull the shee out,and raced him and a couple of his budies,they all have hondas[crx,civic etc,,,,]iam so temted to doing it just to kick their ass,cuz their saying theres no way that i can beat their ass,in like a 400 or 500 foot race.those cars that they have are not even all that moded,i think the fastes is a civic with cams,headers,intake,lighter pulleys.what are my chances?i have a 4 mil cub.also should i even do it?cuz they want to do it where they all race,in the street of course where its not legal.they also say that the cops never show where they race,and they been buging me for about a month.also have any of you guys done it? :: :: :: :beer: :ninja:

you will kick their ass till you top out... A 4mm shee is capable of 10sec on the mile..

if set up right.. i dont think the civics are going to do even 12sec.. so think about it..

ive beaten saab 900 se turbo, subaru outback, porsche carrera, bmw 325, gmc sonoma, honda civic, geo metro, some kind of flat bed truck too.

 

most automobiles can be beat if they dont have some kind of secret weapon like a 200 hp shot of nitrous. i wouldnt want to race a viper though.

Even if they were bottled or boosted I would still put money on you over them in a 500ft race.. To be honest they obviously have no idea because a race to 500ft is where your most deadly..

I just can't see how a person can think that a 3000# car has a chance with a 600# (400 bike + 200 rider) pumped shee. Even if they went faster they still have to get that POS moving quick enough to pass you before the line.

 

I agree though, if you race them you may want to practice taking off on asphalt unless you don't wheelie all the there and bounce off the grab bar. You need to borrow someones slicks for the day............. :beer:

you put some flat track type tires on and can get the hang of the launch and you'll kill them even more.....you'll smoke them without slick style tires but then it wouldn't be even funny.

i raced the civic on saturday,and i even took a vid,but i was not able to post it cuz my camara does not have a mamory card,or someshit like that.thats what the guy that was helping me post it said.ill try to get the memory card soon.also w knoobies i was smoking that civic by at least i say 60 to 90 feet.after that no one want it to run.if i can post the vid soon i will.after that i took a small vid of me running on the street,and the guy that was chasing me said he was going 90 miles an hr before i disapear out of the camara.do you guys think i hit over 100 miles per hour? :beer:
