Hollister_Hitman Posted October 27, 2006 Report Posted October 27, 2006 I am not sure off all the changes that yamaha has done to the banshee (other than colored plastic) over the years but can someone list them. Here is what I know...I think rear brake light added, different head lights, j-arms to a-arms, and different axle nuts? Quote

dajogejr Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 im not sure about this, but I heard the stock pipes are different on the first year model, than the rest can anyone confirm that???? Boy....if you have an 87 and are still running stock pipes, you'd really need to get out of that bubble...ha ha ha... Gearing.... Some years have 41 tooth rear, some have 42....me thinks. As Nyuk said, electrical. 87 to 94, same, 95 to 96, Same, 97 to current....same. Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Are the shocks also the same for all years? Stocks suck really bad, you'd figure that's something they should of improved on a long time ago. Quote
Animalman294 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Yeah, there area a lot of things that they should have improved on, but why would they have to, we still buy them anyway :yelrotflmao: Quote
LiftdT4R Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 As Nyuk said, electrical. 87 to 94, same, 95 to 96, Same, 97 to current....same. My 01 has different connectors then my 01 in a lot of places. The 01 has a lot of the flat rectagle style connectors, and the 02 has more of the rounder ones. The headlight connections are the only ones I remember off the top of my head. Quote
dajogejr Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 Sure...little things like that, but I was mainly talking about is CDI connectors to the Stator.... Quote
