OK, I have the torque wrench and I'd like to tighten the cylinder base nuts to 20 ft/lbs , and I'm having a hell of a time getting a socket in those tight quarters. Especially the 2 inner ones under the exhaust ports. Does anyone know of a special wrench that fits in there?

I'm not exactly ready to go to the yamaha dealer and buy one (if they do have such a tool) They'd prolly ask $400 bills for one. thanks for any advice. :ermm:

This is called a crows foot wrench they are availiable from sears and most other tool stores. You should be able to use it in there on your torque wrench.

Just put it on at a right angle to the wrench, otherwise your torque won't be right.

I like the Motion Pro hex design much better than an open-ended idea. In either case using the adaptor at 90* with your torque wrench, makes for a direct reading.
