I bought a 421 cheetah off a guy. The right side is not firing. The left is perfect. I changed the plugs, its has a spark, the jets are not clogged, the carbs are in sink with each other. What I'am I missing?

Fuel turned on all the way?

While running on the left cylinder, pull out the choke while giving it gas to see if it will start sucking it into the right side.

Did a leak down test here I'am missing a little corner off of the reed so I ordered a new one. Hopefully this fixes it!

What kind of stator do you have? I have the same motor and was having the same problem. Trinity told me it was because of the Ricky Stator. It was brand new and ohmed out correctly so I didn't beleive them but after not being able to find the problem, I bought an Yamaha stator and the problem dissapeered. Trinity says that motor will not run right with a Ricky. I don't know why but whatever.

I'am sure what kind of stator it is but it looks stock. I really don't think the busted reed is the only problem. The spark plug is as clean as when I put it in. No burn marks. but I'll find out.

a leak down test will not tell if you have a broken reed. it will still fire on a broken reed. if you have spark on both plugs at the same time it is not your stator. your problem is fuel or air.
