  1. What he said Sent from my 0PJA2 using Tapatalk
  2. Renthal has factory bend banshee bars on closeout. $40
  3. Easy enough, will do. By the looks of his barn, there will be lol
  4. I bought a friend's banshee i know it has atleast sat in his shop for 3 years could have been longer. It is my second so i'm not totally clueless just wondering where to start on a bike that has sat so long. Anything i need to watch out for? Was planning to do a leak down and compression check, clean carbs and chain and i have some random tires laying around... anything else? He rode it in the garage and parked it, had a kid and 3 years later its mine
  5. yes, assuming the idling and "air sucking" is a new problem (post bowl removal) sounds like when you reinstalled you missed the choke tube.... That fuel leak should be a simple fix... and as motooutcast said... service manual FTW
  6. Sounds like your float stuck a little... Tap it with the butt of a screwdriver should fix it, if it keeps happening clean your carbs real good and shut the gas off when you put it up
  7. Everything in this list, ^ he can do for you
  8. People are always asking me if I know Tyler Durden

  9. Yes the slot in the back of the gear could be worn.... If your impeller is discolored that means its still plastic lol and you should get a billet impeller. How do the fins look on your radiator? And when you checked the plugs was that a fresh set ran and chopped or did you just check the ones you had in it? Something may have changed
  10. Hard to go wrong with either, but Mull has a billet gear too... which is nice
  11. Fuel, spark, compression, need all three to work, check all three and eliminate them... And as far as top end goes its very simple, but I'd recommend sending your cylinders to a site sponsor to be bored, might as well be ported too, then get a rebuild kit (from the same builder) and install... Then do a leakdown, compression test, rejet and zoom
  12. it will tell you if you need to rebuild or not
  13. Nows a good time for a port job lol
  14. That shits everywhere! I say for sure fix the bolts, but if your transmission fluid was at an ok level then you either WERE overfilled or its not leaking
  15. Your going to regret continuing to run it, if you dont do a leakdown
  16. As far as compression testing goes, go to your local auto store buy a compression tester, unscrew both plugs hook it up, kick it with the throttle wfo until the needle stops climbing, repeat for other cylinder Also buy a clymers manual
  17. Leakdown test http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=110585
  18. Thats super low compression, sounds like its time for a rebuild. Make sure to do a leak down when your done
  19. Sounds like an air leak on the right side, I'd bet intake
