DIRTMAN350 Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 I would offer them $3000.00 at the most. Unless there is serious motor mods. Quote
Speedie Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 I would offer them $3000.00 at the most. Unless there is serious motor mods. 514793 3000 is what I was thinking also, but offer him 2500 maybe even 2000 and let him work you up to 3000. Good luck. Quote
txblueshee Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 2800 tops.... that's cali price too... Mike Quote

hittintrees srh Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 It's here in So. Cali, i called him says it has a bad clutch basket...... is that cheap to fix? 514863 it can be. just depends on what you want to do- upgrade, or just repair. as for the price-$2700 max. Quote
Animalman294 Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 (edited) $3000 for a 97 with a few bolt ons, what is that in pesos? What do you mean thats cali price, I wasn't aware, do we have our own currency? just yankin' your chain, it really depends on if it is worth it to you, but ya I would start out at $2000 and see what happens Edited May 12, 2006 by Animalman294 Quote
MYquadsFaster Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 wow i think those are the ugliest headlights i have ever seen in my entire life. Quote
Justintoxicated Posted May 12, 2006 Report Posted May 12, 2006 (edited) You have to be kidding, 2500? I could not find an 86/87 in cali for that price when I bought mine in 2000. I would say 3000-3500 at least and good luck for getting it at that. in 2000 I was looking at 95's for abotu 5g's hence why I decided to just buy new, not know about the hidden asembaly/reg fees came out to almost 8k new, and thats after we had them knock off $1000. And don't think I'm making this up, my stepdad jsut got a new ATV for my sister and it was almost 7k for a 400. I doubt you will get it with lowball offers as suggested. No wonder I have a hard time selling parts on the HQ. Edited May 12, 2006 by Justintoxicated Quote
hittintrees srh Posted May 13, 2006 Report Posted May 13, 2006 plus theres some many shees out there and there all preatty much the same-i got my sheefor $3300- and it had a hell of a lot more upgrades than the title bike in this thread. We gotta face it guys- banshees dont give us much return for all the money we invest. Quote
PUSH THE THROTTLE Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 I doubt you will get it with lowball offers as suggested. No wonder I have a hard time selling parts on the HQ. 515228 I agree lowball offers don't usually work unless your goal is to look like a moron. You have to be reasonable. Take what you are willing to pay and knock $100 or 2 off and see where that gets you. Quote
msprouse Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 Just wait until they outlaw 2 strokes in cali and you'll have a slough of them for cheap Quote
