Trans. oil?

Just wondering what oil to use for the tranny fluid?? Wasn't sure if there was a specific type or not..Whats everybody use, and why? (another queer question, I know, lol)

I've always used the Yamalube tranny oil. I had to use Maxima the other day because crackhead Motoworld was out of Yamalube. Oh well.

I just use 2 stroke oil. Not sure what brand.

for the transmission .. yamalube 20-w40 dont let no body steer you to any other kinds stick with the kind that was first put in your bike

I use bel ray 80wt. I have also used the torco 80 before. both work great.

I asked Vito's and they said to run Mobile One 5w30 full synthetic. They said that's what a lot of the road racing guys use. Used it for over a year now with no problems. Easy to find, too

i use amsoil 0w 40w synthetic it is awsome make sure u get it 4 wet clutchs

how abotu bel ray 20w 50 motor oil for the tranny or would it b too heavy, I have about 10 bottles in the garage

I have used Klotz for years and have had no reason to change

I use the red honda 85 wt oil. Haven't toasted or adjusted the clutch for a while now

I use ATF type F and change it very frequently. But at a buck somethin a quart, you can afford to have fresh fluid in your tranny all the time.

same here. Or if they dont have that I use the belray 2 stroke transmission oil. to me it looks like the same stuff

So, to sum it up, you can put anything that's slippery in it and it will be fine
