I painted my old ones myself, and they came out looking pretty decent. I beadblasted them, hit them with a layer of dupli-color metalcast ground coat, then a layer of the metalcast red, then i hit them with clear coat. They came out looking pretty decent.

I know a guy who did his whole frame with automotive paint. You should probably sand down/blast them, then get a can of whatever you want from the local auto parts store and then clear coat it

Does anyone know right off where I can get paint that matches the factory a-arm and frame paint from a 99(not sure what other years this paint was used on)?

I have looked for the '99 Silver frame paint, can't find it anywhere. It is different from 2000 and up. Post if you find some!

Would it be alright to use a Heavy Duty Machinery paint, then hit it with a few layers of clear coat, i think the machinery would hold up pretty good
