BigRed350x Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 I recently had an idea passed on to me through a PM which got me thinking... With how popular the post in the repairs and mods section is, and how many questions I'm getting in PM's because of it, this might be a good thing for a lot of people out there. I'm thinking about making some CD's with walkthrough diagrams, pictures, probably some video shots, etc that would show step by step guides for all sorts of different things with the banshee. If I were to do this, I would like to know how many people would actually be interested in paying a little fee for the CD's. Say... $20/ea. or something. Kind of like the post I made in the repairs and mods forum about splitting the cases. If I were to do this, it would provide a much greater detail on the instructions, torque specifics for individual bolts, etc. Probably do some for top end rebuilds, splitting the cases, removal of different parts, installation of common bolt-on parts, clutches, water impeller, etc. I could probably put some maps to common riding areas around the country, directions, gps coordinates, pictures, videos, and some other stuff on the CD's too. Maybe make them DVD's that you could put in your player and have chapter selections for different walk-through's and stuff. I dunno. Just tossing the idea out there. Who would be interested? What kinda stuff would you like to see on the disc if I did decide to make them. - Jared Quote
FasterThanU90 Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 sounds like a bitchin idea id like to kno sum of the gps coordinates Quote
bigboybanshee Posted February 24, 2006 Report Posted February 24, 2006 I think it would be cool, especially for the folks that have never done any work like that before. You could sell them here, ebay, local dealers, etc...if you got the time, and the demand is there, it sounds like a good idea Quote

Maybe have someone donate one to me for long enough to get all the pictures/video i would need, and they would get a free rebuild out of it. I might throw some goodies in for someone with a stock shee that would be willing to let me do it. Plus a free cleaning. If i am going to do this, I will make sure everything would be totally spotless before I started working on it. Quote
