whats up everyone. the 450 is awsome to jump with. everyone agrees with this. my question is do you think its possible to set up a banshee so it has the capability to jump as good if not better than the yfz 450?

The banshee has not been upgraded since the switch from j arms to a arms and the 450 is a product of the 21st century. So if factory is that much better just imagine what aftermarket would be like.

You'd end up with a very similar bike once you throw on a full aftermarket frame. Geometry wise you could make them very close. The problem with the shee would be that you'd have a hard time cutting weight to match the 450. I suppose you'd have to use some crazy expensive metals on both to make the best machine possible but in the end the 450 will still be lighter.

I love how anybody has been brainwashed into thinking these new quads can "jump better". How exactly does one quad "jump better" than another?

I can see how one will land better, with better suspension, which the yfz has stock. But if you buy aftermarket shocks, the banshee can take just as big of jumps. The new quads can handle better sure, but they aren't rewriting the laws of physics so they jump better.

But still.. If you were to aftermarket the banshee to death and even get the dimensions similar .. wouldn't you still be better off with a 450?

I'm asking this becuase I want to know if the shee frame is durable enough for track..
