Spitfire Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 Well, I traded off my 2001 TTR-225 for a '87 Quadzilla today. The zilla's a little rough, cosmetically anyway, but she runs real good, I have about a thousand bucks worth of receipts for the motor (new everything!). It's got a coolhead, a dynoport pipe/silencer, and a bigger carb on it. I'm very pleased with it, just need to get some new tires to get at least SOME traction. And yes, I know, it's REAL ugly, but I don't care, cause wouldn't you trade a '01 TTR-225 for it?!! Quote
iceman Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 nice man. sounds like you got a good deal. got any big plans for it? Quote
Guest nightmare Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 How hard does it pull when you pin it? I have seen alot of them over the years, but have never rode one. I raced one last year at the fair and he smoked me, but my Banshee was stock then. You don't like the Realtors that are on it? Are they in good shape? If so I might be interested in them if you want to get rid of them. Quote
suzuki0702 Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 beautiful bike dude.. nice deal! dont kill yourself! Quote
FasterThanU90 Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 good deal looks like u would get more traction if u switched those rear tires around more of a scoop yah kno Quote
Spitfire Posted January 8, 2006 Author Report Posted January 8, 2006 I don't like the realtors at all, nor me or my buddy had a good experience with them, but I ride mostly grassy fields and stuff, so I wouldn't expect them to do good. As for how fast it is, VERY! In the yard it's not much to worry about, because once the powervalve opens, the wheels are gonna spin no matter what, but on the road, it can easily get out of hand! I'm probably gonna sell it come springtime, it's too much bike for me (only my second quad, I've been on dirtbikes my whole life). Quote
WALLACE84 Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 Nice yea I would trade a ttr225 for that anyday! Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 i dont think it looks bad cosmetically..looks pretty nice to me... Quote

As long as I stay on top of maintence, I'm not worried, plus, I'm just gonna sell it in two months. Quote
