Quadracer18 Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 I need to remove my cool head as i am selling it. When i take the hoses off each side, will the radiator fluid leak out or not. If it does is there any way to stop it from leaking out? thanks, Josh Quote
pimpeinkc Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 you have to drain the system,,,, or mop the fluid out of the cylinders and the off the floor Quote

Remove it and their is a smaller gold anadized plate. Place a bucket under the area and remove the plate. Might be a good time to add the aftermarket plate with the drain plug and you could modify the stock plate for one. Quote
gatoman28 Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 I seen two bolts on the sides of the cilynders, the owners manual says its to drain the cooling system. might wwant to check Quote
banshee tuner Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 You can just pull the hose off going to the water pump. Quote

RIPPEN Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 (edited) me too... 456622[/snapback] Same here, all you need is a flat head sd and when you pull the hose loose you can point it straight into the bucket RIPPEN Edited January 8, 2006 by RIPPEN Quote
jmoore Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 Yeah, there are two brass plugs in the side of the cylinders. If you take those out first, your antifreeze comes shooting staight out all over you. Ha ha, I found that out the hard way. So take off the hose. Quote
