mattw204 Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 Im looking to powdercoat and i cant find a place on the web that will give me info and prices.....could anyone tell me where i can find one Quote
floyd398 Posted January 1, 2006 Report Posted January 1, 2006 I just found this site the other day. they have some powder coating prices but you'd have to call for a frame estimate by what I read. Some pretty damn fast blaster drag racing vids here too. HERE: http://www.cpcustoms.com/ Quote
eehsnab2 Posted January 5, 2006 Report Posted January 5, 2006 probably best to find someone local to do it.... Phonebook or dex online. Search powdercoat. Quote

Wallrat Posted January 13, 2006 Report Posted January 13, 2006 Seems like most places charge between $200-$250 for a prepped frame. Quote

aschultz91 Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 idk where you live but there is a place in NJ called trgcoating.com and he is very reasonable and does great work. I got my frame done for 200 and i didnt have to prep it at all. Just take most of the dirt of the frame then he sandblasted and pc'ed candy blue with a clear coat. Quote
KpnitG Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 i was told by american powder coating here in ny aobut $60 but they dont sand blast them.& thats for any color except crome. 467390[/snapback] How does that Chrome come out? cuz the guy at the shop here says its not diped but sprayed? The guy charges me 110 if i prep it and 180 if he sandblasts it.. Quote
sand4ever Posted February 1, 2006 Report Posted February 1, 2006 I would personally have it done locally if possible. When I had mine done the first time it was done poorly. So I made them redo it again. Then again it will depend on the color and how hard it is to apply. Mine is a two color powdercoat process. First is a silver base with a blue overlay. They call it lollipop blue and from what the guy told me is the hardest color to powdercoat. He has been doing this for years. The total for the frame, hubs and spindles was $300.00 and he sandblasted everything. This is in southern oregon. Good Luck Quote
