CadillacBanshee
When i was checkin out a few bikes at glamis i seen that people had some little plates inserted in their carbs, right in the middle of the intake side. What is that for?

Fireroad Express
supposed to improve low end throttle response. don't bother with them. you'd gain more power with a set of racing stripes.
CadillacBanshee
It was before the slider but after the filter. There was a bunch of people there showing off and adusting their shit on friday afternoon. I was looking around just to get an idea of how bad i'll be getting smoked. Fireroad Express
i think he's talking about the "power now valve". advertised as producing "big horsepower for a small price"(89.95 !). ufos are about as useless.required endless hours of carb tuning to show a 1 - 2hp increase on an 800cc snowmobile engine. results would be much less on a 350-400 cc 2/s. hate to see someone waste thier money! Someone from the company was on bt a while back trying to pawn them off on people. I never figured it out though. If you want more power when you're only partially on the throttle, then why not just give it more throttle? Either way, they're worthless, save your money. mat
Don't waste your money on the PowerNow inserts. My friend bought one for his RMZ250 and couldn't really tell the difference. just my $0.
BigRed350x
I've heard both, they work great and they don't do shit. Personally, I'm not going to spend that kinda money on something I have heard mixed stories about.

cbn70
If you are talking about the UFO's, I have used them and they are great. They make your bike way snappier in the midrange. Also noticed theat I needed to jet alot less. They were a little work to put in and get jetted right, but well worth the money.
