well i posted this before. but since then, i've changed to some white stock plastics instead of black maiers. got them from minkia38.

as thick as the vinyl was i just used a heat gun and some wax paper to transfer them to the new plastic.

I'd say toss the shock covers.  nothing but trouble there.  In the long run, they trash your coils.  and they look gay

How do you figure they trash your coil springs? Are you talking about them damaging the paint on the coil or actually damaging the spring? That is the first I've ever heard of it....kind of hard to believe. I'm all ears though

Pics don't work for me either. But yeah they do trash the springs. The paint wears off them where the cover is touching. Happened to my craptor 350. It stained the covers rusty. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN. :P Do what you want, find out for yourself :shrugani:

the shock covers do work, they protect you shock shafts from roost from the guy in front of you,,, and id rather deal with a little worn of paint than dings in my shock shaft, wich than in turn makes leaks, and then its re-build time for your shocks,, I bought Elkas for my Banshee and Raptor, and Elka recomends running them
