smallfry Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 From a chick's perspective...I'd rather pay for gas and oil before I buy a 4 stroke!!! Really, Who thinks of gas milage? When you own a Banshee, it's all about the throttle baby!!!! Quote
Bansh88 Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Maybes he's riding to work? A BANSHEE IS NOT A COMMUTER VEHICLE! Sell your wheels and tires. Use the money for gas and go with 4" rims and 10"tires. That will shave some MPGs Quote
SANDSTAR Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 Check the sidepockets of your purse, man. I'm sure there is some extra change in there to ease your fuel bill. Look next to your extra absorbant tampons. Sometimes those things cover the quarters to where you can't see 'em. (according to my girl) Quote

Cotton eyed Joe Posted September 26, 2005 Report Posted September 26, 2005 porting absolutely will not improve mileage..porting requires jetting up which will in turn use more fuel...the best way to get better mileage would be to ride a totally stock banshee... 419350 After I ported, not only was I faster, but my bike sucks gas down like its free. Went up about 2-3 jet sizes. When I went to dumont it went up 10! Running a 410 main. Almost one tank of gas per ride. A stock banshee would give you much better mileage, but it kinda sucks ass. Its like dating a fat girl because her standards and expectations are lower, so you won't have to take her out all the time, and she's happy with going to a buffet every now and again, and it will save you some cash. But if you're going to date a really really hot woman, you better be able to pay for it if you're going to ride her hard. Quote

Posted September 27, 2005 Report Posted September 27, 2005 gotta pay to play , i spend 42 dollars in gas over 3 days of almost 6 hours riding each day , some days longer ....... IF YOU are concernd about gas you should disconect one piston and rod , and run only 1 piston , works alot better for gas . lol i got the 2 into 1 and it guzzles gas ! however nothing like htiting the powerband its only a small price to pay .
