I have some Pro-Grip Grips and they want to slide right off my Tag T2' Bars.

I went to Baja MX in MI this Sunday and the grips were sliding right off the bars.

I was afraid I was going to bail hard.

What do people use to make em' stick

Grip glue didn't work for me. :shrugani: Instead I use 3M spray adhesive and safety wire. You can get the 3M spray at Home Depot, Menards, or a similar store.

Just safety wire. I haven't used or needed anything else.

If you have soft grips, some adhesives will break down the grips. Take an old set of soft grips and spray them with either. They dissolve.

I used spray laquer. It was in a cabinet in th egarage. woulda used spray paint if needed. Used this on 4 sets of grips. Never slid off. Throttle grip turns ever so slightly now and again. But never tried to come off.

Never used the wire

3 wraps of safety wire around each end of the grip. the trick is to bend the twisted portions in so that you dont hurt yourself.

I use that 1/2 inch grip tap you can get at any home depot. Then a little carb cleaner on the inside of a soft compound grip like a dury. This melts the grip a little and when you slip the grip over the handle bar with the grip tape on it acts like glue.
