I had Dan from Patriot do my first stock stroke set, and Jim from Passion built me new set for me. The new set have quite a bit more done to them, so it wouldn't be fair to compare the two. All I can say is that they both are hard running motors.

Everybody always brings up how cheap Gorr is. He seems to do very nice work, but you only hear about his trail ports. Dan from Patriot charged the same exact amount to do my first RZ jugs and did quite a bit of work to them. Trail ports don't take anywhere near the amount of time as a more aggresive port job, so the price will be lower. I'm not bashing Gorr here in the slightest, I'm just pointing out that most builders will do that same port type for a similiar price.

RZ jugs are similiar, but make sure whatever builder you choose has some experience with them, because cutting the exhaust port is completely different.

I had Patriot port my RZ cylinders this summer and the cylinders look professionally done. I am anxious to try the motor out but it won't be until November this year if my Rockets come in. Once complete and running I am planning to provide a ride report next srping.

PS: Dan has extensive knowledge with the RZ motor.
